I have cleared out the bottom of my pantry. Re united tupperware boxes with their lids, thrown out broken, lidless or no good ones. Sorted through surplus utensils and thrown loads away, like the accessories for a mixer that went to mixer heaven some time ago.
Am trying to find the energy to make a start on the spare room where all our homeless possessions are lurking. That is a big one and will take many fast days.

Thank you Brand-ie, I bought that book for a penny plus postage from Amazon, I read it in one day and now I can put it in my charity shop pile so someone else can have a read. It's got me well into the decluttering mood but I can't sort anything for at least a week as we have to travel to Sussex for a family funeral, and when we get back it will be hubby's 70th birthday. That means the Cornwall family coming to see him but they can't all make it on the day so it will spread out over the week. After that I'll be free to make a start on chucking out the tat and bagging up the charity shop stuff.
First fast today after my trip to uk and the decluttering continues. Today I sorted out all my underwear. How did I manage to accumulate 35 bras? I only use about 5 of them. Some of the bras are very pretty but don't fit, some are not very pretty but do fit and the worst are the ones that are ugly as hell and don't fit, why have I still got these? Anyway going to keep only the nice ones that fit, the rest are going in the bin. Well, I'll keep the ones that cost quite a bit but only if I think they may fit me soon. Also 12 pairs of knickers have gone in the bin, only keeping the ones that are part of a set or too comfy to part with. By the way I love that site someone on here (sorry can't remember who) pointed us to, 'unf**k your habitat' thanks for that :)
Hubby is impressed at how ruthless I can be! But only with my stuff, he won't let me near his junk!
Well,it's been a miserable wet day here and hubs knows how ruthless I can be about de cluttering, throwing in the big black bin anything I don't wish to ever see again so he prudently suggested lunch in town as he recognised that I was eyeing him up for the 'useless things' bag. Back home safely now, for the time being.......

Ballerina x
Afternoon spent going through wardrobes the whole length of my bedroom, now have to bag up the piles on the bed! Tried on lots, and nearly all toooo big! :victory:
Fasting today, have spent the day cutting grass in stages, it is very hot and I have to keep checking on the newest chicks as they are free ranging with two mums! One of my cats went for a look and was pecked!
Once I have recovered from my last bit of mowing I am going to start on the pantry shelves!
Hope your pantryclearing went well@Bobshouse
I've tackled clearing my airing cupboard and the drawer in the base of my bed :like:
Feel happy with the fasting day's accomplishments! X
Fasting today and I pledge to make up another bag of clothes to take to the charity bin. This will contain baggy cardigans and other too big things.
Hi Bob @bobshouseGreat to be giving away the baggy cardis instead of hiding behind them! X X these good feelings are so much better than junky food! X
Sure are! I very much hope I am making this journey for the last time!

Me too. Just bookmarked it, thanks @CandiceMarie. Hope nobody reads my bookmarks   What on earth will they think I'm reading?

I have joined the conga line and have saved "unf**k your habitat" site as well. Pretty blunt message but need to keep the pedal down on culling collections, clothes and just the stuff of life that accumulates. So appreciative of this thread to keep me on my toes ... so thanks.
So glad peep are enjoying the " (ahem) yr habitat! "site x
Declutteting my wardrobe once again 2 bags full of clothing, where does it keep coming from?
Oh yes I keep getting "hand me downs" given to me by family + friends all gratefully received at the time of course trying on the smaller sizes, trouble is no-one seems to have my taste in best trousers and don't know where to look next for soft wide leg version they must have gone out of date + favour.
@Sue.Q
I think they still have wide leg trousers in M&S- but they may only be winter stock- I haven't looked for a while
