Hi @Tenshi. ive added you to post 1
I came to check this tent after @Barbarita suggested me to be her buddy in the Fasting Buddies tent. I am not completely sure how this works and I am lazy to read the full thread  Can someone summarize it for me? Thanks sooooo much
Hi @Iztla

We can either chat to each other by posting on this thread or we could start a new "tent" for us, and invite other "Fast-5ers" to join (or not). We can chitchat about the, diet, life the universe and everything; support each other when we want to give up. I believe some buddies also PM each other if they want to talk confidentially.

Are you in the Facebook Fast-5 group? There's some good Q & A on there, including replies from Dr Herring, but you never really get to know anybody.

@Iztla I have recently buddied up with clairemarie. We mainly communicate with each other on this thread on our fasting and weighing days. We are a bit adrift timewise but we try and support each other through the day especially if one of us hits a low spot. We usually exchange notes about what we are planning to eat.Although we tend to dominate this thread and Mondays and Wednesdays we did not feel we needed a whole thread/tent to ourselves.
We do PM if the subject matter is sensitive
Thanks Lil and Barbarita!!!

I like the option of a new tent where other Fast-5ers can contribute. I may not be very active some days and I don't want you to feel lonely
Hi @Juliana.Rivers

@Iztla and @barbarita are going to be Fast-5 buddies. We are going to set up our own FastFivers tent. Anyone can pop in for a cup of tea, we'll leave tea-making equipment about as we may be out quite a lot.

I have made you both buddy set number 13 and posted this in post 1 on this thread.

Creating your own tent is fine of course. come and visit here occasionally and please post your tent thread link here at some stage

Thank you @Juliana.Rivers for making us official, but could we be 12A rather than <shudder, music of doom> 13?

The main web page for the Fast-5 lifestyle is http://didienrichtoday.com and navigate to the Fast-5 diet and lifestyle pages - sorry I don't know how to capture web addresses on the Kindle, so I won't attempt to give the Facebook link until I get on a PC.

Fast-5 is an eating window form of IF, where every day you fast for 19 hours and then eat as you please during the other 5-hour block
Is it too late to find a buddy?
Evening, I would definitely welcome a buddy. I started on 5 Jan and all went fantastic until 20 Feb and it's been hit and miss since. Work and going on holiday got me out of the habit and I need to get back on track.

I usually do Mon and Thurs and have 2 stone to wave goodbye to.

Anyone with similar weight to lose, love of cheese & wine and on a mission to stick with it is most welcome. I'm 45 on 6 July......... 14 weeks to go and I really want to be at least 14 Ibs lighter. Anna

Hi @Anna London. I'd like a buddy too. I'm quite a bit older than you (62 in May), have a bit more to lose (40 lbs), love cheese & wine and all good things in life, and mostly do Mondays and Fridays.
@Juliana.Rivers

Hope you don't mind but I've split this thread into one for finding buddies and one for chatting to buddies. I have been noticing that various members have posted here asking to buddy up but their cry for help has been drowned out by the wonderful chatting going on all around them!

I think it best if people find a buddy here and then move out to the new Buddy Chat Tent to carry on their conversation.

I hope you don't mind and that you find it easier to pair up buddies - I do hope you're still happy to perform this function as it seems to be working really well!
