Re: The 4:3 tent is up.

Just had my weekly weigh in and lost 0.75lb (on 5:2). Feeling okay about that and looking forward to seeing what my first 4:3 weigh in brings next week! :victory:

Hi everyone! I am 4.3ing for the first two weeks because I have an irritating plateau and just trying to shift it. I am fasting Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday for 24 hours each.

Then take it from there, well done everyone you are all doing so well.

Hello @vix89uk and I hope 4:3 will get you off that plateau! Good luck. :clover:

Viv--I did the exact same thing and it DID budge the scales down again. I did 4:3 the last two weeks, and this week I am back to 5:2. I lost almost 5 pounds, which is amazing to me, especially since I am very close to goal.

I still chuckle to myself when I realize that I would rather fast an extra day a week than track, count, or limit my calories the other days of the week. This lifestyle is just soooooo easy (minus the hunger pangs, of course).

Good luck! I bet you will see results. Please let us know.

Hi 4:3ers. Bit quiet in here. Last fast of the week for most of us, lets make it count. Good luck

That's a shame, you where doing so well on 4:3. Go easy on yourself, you'll figure it out. Get your head back in the zone for next week, sometimes we just need a few days off. Good luck :)

Gaahhh I ended up having to abort the fast day yesterday, I was invited to a film night with some friends and there was nooo way I could resist all the popcorn, crisps and nibbles they had haha. Felt a bit rubbish this morning at the amount I ate, but everyone is allowed a few slip ups right?

So I just moved the fast to today. Went for an hour and a half walk this morning to make the most of this lovely sunshine we are having at the moment with a few slices of lean beef at 10 cals each and a banana afterwards. Got some soup and veg for dinner, then back to normal tomorrow. Thanks for your kind words everyone, Melinda I will definitely let you know how 4.3 goes for me :)

You'll be fine @vix89uk
That's the beauty of fasting is that it's versatile, and a normal life can still be enjoyed. Good luck with 4.3 from me too.

I like 4:3 because it's half way between 5:2 and ADF! Well that's how I look at it and it has served me very well indeed. Love it in fact!
Happy choosing @Bobshouse. :clover:

Right, done lots of reading and thinking whilst cutting the grass, sat down to read though! ( burning calories too) I was happy on 4:3 until I introduced 16:8 on feed days. Then it all went wrong. I am not bothered about a fast loss as long as I get there. On Monday I will go back to 4:3 and eat normally on feed days. Hope I haven't done too much damage but if I have hey ho!

I'm struggling! It's my first week of 4:3 and my third fast day of the week (did Monday and Wednesday with no problems).

I had an ice lolly at lunch (about 50 cals) and have planned an omelette with veg for dinner. I currently feel like eating everything everywhere.

I really hope my dinner fills me up and I don't go on a crazed binge tonight :(

I survived!! Had a lovely weekend but ate way too much (BBQ, crisps, pavlova, cheesecake, cider..oops). Hopefully the extra fast day will go some way towards damage control...

Absolutely chuffed! I put 9 st 12 as my start weight on the progress tracker because that was the last time I weighed myself about a month ago.

Anyway I went on this morning and I was 9 st 8! 61kg or 134lbs, so over the moon. Not sure if I was a couple of lbs lighter than I thought, but still it is moving in the right direction.

This time next week I hope to report a weight of 9 st 7. How is everyone else getting on? Lottie don't worry, we all have the odd mad day, the fasting definitely helps. At least with this WOE we still get a social life :)
