Got my first 4:3 weigh in tomorrow morning and I'm a little nervous. Fasting has been fine but I had an extremely carb/alcohol/bbq heavy weekend. Lots of mindless eating of crisps and potato salad happened.

Fasting today and fasted Monday though so fingers crossed I will at least STS...

Hope you're all good and staying motivated!

I have a headache today and I can't get rid of it. I had painkillers and water but it's not gone. Keep thinking I should maybe eat a little something but not feeling hungry at all and I'm worried eating something now would turn it into a difficult fastday, which it isn't at the moment. I think it will be early to bed for me tonight.

@lottie89 hopefully the 4:3 has saved you regarding the overindulgence at the weekend. Good luck for weigh in.

First week of 4:3 and a 0.25lb gain :(

Blaming it on time of the month induced water retention though!

I'd blame it on that too!

Just to say that I did back to back on Tuesday and Wednesday and lost over a kilo in weight! From 56.8k (it was creeping up!) to 55.7k today. Because I've been doing this WOE for a while now I find I can do back to back easily, but it takes a bit of getting used to. I only did it because it's hubby's birthday today and we shall indulge tonight........lamb cutlets, asparagus, new potatoes in butter, followed by French assorted cheeses and all washed down with red wine! I shall probably have a headache tomorrow!
Happy 4:3ing everyone........

Don't worry about it @lottie89the scale will catch up next week.
I take my hat off to you @Auriga, my head won't even let me consider b2b. I think I'd just gain back any loss over the rest of the week too. Probably different for you being in maintenance. Happy birthday to hubby hope you both have a lovely evening, sounds scrummy. :)

3rd fast of the week for me.
I must admit this is the toughest morning so far. But a least i know why. I'm tired
I only got 6 hours sleep last night and I need at least 7:5 , with 8 I'm on fire.
Was momentarily tempted by visions of hot buttery toast, but I've no work today so instead I've made lovely fresh coffee and I'm connecting with all you wonderful folk on this forum for inspiration.
Happy fasting all and Happy Friday

Waaaaah.

I fast Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It's only my second week of 4:3, but I found last Friday's fast really hard, and I'm finding today hard as well. I've had a bad headache all day despite staying hydrated and taking painkillers, and because it's Friday my resolve seems to be hard to maintain. I associate Fridays with relaxing treat time, not an omelette and sugar free jelly.

I seem to find Monday and Wednesday absolutely fine, no headaches, no cravings, lots of energy. There's just something about this pesky third fast.

As I haven't got a lot to lose, I think 5:2 is just going to be too slow for me so I need to stick with 4:3. Just need to give myself a kick up the bum and get on with it!

I'm out drinking tomorrow and eating pizza so try as I might, I can't justify breaking today's fast!

Plus it's my birthday next weekend so I've got 3 days of celebrations and only a 5:2 week planned, even more reason to stick to 4:3 this week.

Hurry up time so I can get home and have my omelette.

That's the spirit lottie89, you'll do it I am sure! Try going for a short walk round the office or outside to take your mind off things. Good luck!

I am still here but had trouble getting into the new forum. Moogie and Jason helped me so here I am. Pleased to report I successfully fasted on Wednesday whilst driving for 7 hours. Was tempted on the boat but stuck with it. Have also fasted today with no problem. Was offered a buffet lunch but stuck with black coffee. I will enjoy eating over the weekend and Sunday am having pizza with friends.
