Is work different at the moment or something? Why don't you just have a break and start when you're all fresh and psyched up? xx

Yes, I am the only enviro person on the whole rail project, all 344km of it and the amount of driving I am doing is ridiculous. And on rough dirt roads, it is hard on the neck and shoulders. Combined with 21 days in a row of 11 hour days and bad sleep, I'm a goner! Not as young as I used to be!
But I am not complaining, at least I have a job and can get around. Just pooped!!! I have every sympathy and empathy for how you must feel all the time.

21 days in a row of 11 hours?! Oh poor @Debs that's just inhuman. Have you got a break coming up anytime soon? xx

@Debs that sounds pretty grim. Here's to Tuesday - how long is your break? Could hubby book a massage for when you return? Sounds like you could do with a bit of pampering.

11.13.2 again this morning. Hopefully Friday's fast will see me down a proper notch.

Debs wrote: Hi there bean, I'll be glad when today is over, so tired and grumpy. I seem to have been unable to fast the last two days, headspace just not right. Very frustrating :sleepy:

Hello there @Debs I do hope you get a good night's sleep and will feel better for it. :sleepy:
Hi everybody, I am coming into this tent for 10 days starting today....the weight is stuck again (my body is having its usual laugh once a month now it would seem and as I am post-menopause it can't be TTofTM....weird). I have visitors coming on the 15th for four days of feasting and fun! So ADF it is for me until then and probably after too!

Would love to know the secret of your success Auriga as I want to get exactly where you are but have failed miserably so far.

Hi @Debs and there's no secret, I am just plain stubborn to the core, I won't let the flab beat me this time.....at 63 years of age I want the rest of my life to be enjoyable, in fact full of zest! I will not go willingly into the twilight years.....I am going down fighting Debs!

I like your attitude @Auriga

I've just turned 40 but feel 93 today :( My period is due and I am ridiculously wiped out and have been since Tuesday :frown: This is symptomatic of the endometriosis which I'm told I almost certainly have (lots of other symptoms) - but not to the degree where it warrants the horror of a laparoscopy to investigate and confirm. I agree with that because I know lots of people who've had the lap, have much worse times than me and the treatment available is about as much use as a chocolate teapot  Luckily for me, I can nap during the day and I have a very supportive hubby. It's horrible to feel so utterly drained and achy though, and I really feel for poor Bean who goes through this on a daily basis. Having had a two hour nap, I'm actually too tired to think about lunch and am having a large mocha with a double shot of espresso instead!

So Auriga, what with Tim off on a work junket and @Debs under the weather, me having a weary moan... It's good to have someone jolly and bright about the place  Good luck with the ADF :clover:

Thank you@Winsome and I hope you'll be feeling better soon. My dear old mum used to cuddle up with a hot water bottle on such occasions. I think anything that can cheer you up when you're feeling down is a good idea.....enjoy that Mocha! :coffee:
I am having to cook in advance of guests coming next week....chewing my fist whilst doing so as I am a bit hungry right now. These things are sent to try us. Have a good day Winsome. X
