Yes, I'm fasting today, Beanie, nearly bed time, though I'm still on Singapore time, so I might stay up a little longer & watch "escape to the country" - Cornwall tonight, just jealous of the British house prices!

Oh my goodness @Sailgirl333 how ever did you manage to resist most of theTurkish Delight.the proper stuffs divine isnt it!
@nursebean don't get down.Look how well youve done this far..
Carie is right..i think we fight the real battle while we are out in the supermarket ( " the sugar halls" as one nutritionist calls them)
Manage not to buy the bad stuff, difficult tho that is, and you're temptation free! :like:
Having said that,if you live by a supermarket or a petrol station,or a little corner shop ( like me ) ..you're stuffed ,in more ways than one ! X :lol:oh and yes bean ,i am fasting tho technically i dont belong in this tent! Making it a 4:3 week for me..and my usual monday fast tomozz means i ' ll be doing my first back to back!

@nursebean HUGS. It was bound to happen at some point. Don't let it put you on a slippery slope mind-wise. You'll soon drop that lb and more.

I wasn't around but was fasting yesterday. Should have been Saturday but I made the strategic decision to swap days as my lot were out all day Sunday, whereas Saturday was a family day. I've given up worrying about swapping days at weekends now; I'm just aiming to fast one day of the weekend and pick up the rhythm from there.

Have a good day folks and may the force be with you!

Chin up Beaniebobs

Good luck @Winsome, I am fasting tomorrow and am not looking forward to it as I know I shall be ravenous. I have some pomegranate tea and some cinnamon and orange tea which I hope will work a bit.

Good luck @Debs With the last few low carb fasts before your holiday, I've a 4hr delay in flight time home but weighing-in Weds morning and jumping in with willing back2back fasts  boy have I been naughty. Lol :clover:

Hope the fasting is going well/has gone well @Debs

I'm really happy today. Scales back to 11.9 - which is back to the lowest I've been since starting 5:2 :victory: Onwards and downwards now!

I am SO ready for a brand new number!!

Well done Winsome that is great news!! Keep up the good work!
My fast has been more of a 16:8, I knew it would be hard after a week in Perth but that's ok. Better tomorrow I hope

I know the feeling @Winsome I've bean waiting for 10 something for I don't know how long...my whole life probably!

Oh I've bean to Perth @Debs. I really enjoyed myself there. Great food, views, birds...wonderful! Were you working there?

Haven't bean in this tent for a while (mainly because I've bean a bit on the naughty side lately...but at least I haven't gone less than 2 days fast a week...so not too bad) I guess its because I was a bit disilusioned not to have reached 10 something yet. Am hoping that tomorrow will turn my frown upside down.

Is anyone from this tent fasting today?

Hi Bean,
No, failing miserably today, wanting to eat every carb in sight, really struggling just now. I was on my r&r in Perth for the week, just vegging out and drinking coffee and looking for somewhere to live.
I'll try and get back into ADF properly after my holiday, can't manage it at the moment, some days I just want to eat the quack off a low flying duck.

Knock knock... Hello..........can I come in please..........?

Giving this a go as I feel I need more than 5:2 ( if that makes sense) first week ongoing and all calm in Minsmums house!! Unfortunately I can't weigh myself at the moment as my scales have been possessed by a poltergeist and has taken to turning itself on at 3 in the morning, they even tried to weigh me when I was sitting on the loo!! I digress, anyhows I'm giving this a go so may be popping in from time to time :)

Oh @Debs you don't sound too happy at the moment. When are you going on holiday? I think it must be the time of year. Maybe a lot of us are already in holiday mode...and I don't know about you but the most important thing about holidays is the food. I guess thats how I got to be here in the first place...silly Bean. Anyway, don't get too het up because I think we all go off the boil at the moment and you've had a lot on your plate lately haven't you.

@minsmum what can I say? Its great having you join us! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with how easy ADF is (says she who's fallen off the wagon lately!). Mind you, having said that, I have it easy really because I don't have a family to feed or worry about. Er, I'm never tempted to eat the girls' food that's for sure...even if it is the healthy Lily's Kitchen brand

Good luck and pop in here to let us know how you're doing
