Oh @Nursebean Well done!!! That's fantastic.

And you're right about the carbs. When I keep them down to very reasonable levels, it's all so much easier. I really need to stop celebrating so much and I know my weight loss will pick up. If I don't reduce the carbs, I won't make my challenge goal of 17lbs. Actually, I'm pretty sure I won't make it >.<

I'm down to 200.5 today, which is 9.8 lbs down from the start of the challenge, 34.5 down since I started WW in April, and 71.3 lbs down since 2012.

Onward and downward....
:like: :victory:
WooHoo! to @nursebean, @tracieknits, and all others who are losers (heehee)
:like:  :clover: Congratulations to those who are sticking with the challenge no matter what the loss or gain. Nice work @hazelnut ! :like:
Onwards and down.
Blimey @Tracieknits! You're doing really well - keep going!! You're going great guns!!
Thanks @Grannieannie! How's it going for you?!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend
Bean
I've just realized,,, with my 1.6lb weight loss this week I reached my challenge target of 7lbs. 2nd ever challenge that I've reached target,,, 2 in a row, whoooo hhooooo!!!! I think running the challenge after reaching my target (for first time on the last one) really helped me keep in contact with you all even when I wasn't doing so well, instead of going AWOL. Wow also just realized that even though I've had quite a few bad food days/weeks over the past month (since finishing 2 full weeks on BSD), I've not had one gain on an official weigh in day, and only 1 stay the same. Something must have changed, even though it felt like I was getting back to my normal. I must have a new normal now, as in the past I would have gained for sure. I love this WOL

@Tracieknits well done on your loss. I've changed your target to 14lbs by 19th-ish, is that correct? keep it going, you got this :like: :clover:
Hope I've not missed anyone, we're all doing so well it's hard to keep up :)
Just under 2 weeks left, lets give it a final push. Wishing you all a good week. Good luck everyone :clover:
Thanks so much @Justdee!!!
Challenger 8 weighing in. No star this week as I've maintained at 164 lbs. Big push for the final 2 weeks. Well done to all who have lost. This challenge has really helped me to stick with it through easy and harder days.
No shame in a maintain Queenie @Queen56! So well done!
Dee!!! @JustDee?!! Well done! You have done incredibly well - and have now changed for the better eh?!! Its just wonderful isn't it! I didn't realise we had 2 weeks left. Blimey, I think this time, for the first ever time, I've blown my target out of the water - woooooohoooooooo!
Here's to another great week for us all. Come on everyone, stick with it - think of this week's weigh-in!!
Bean
Well, it's all happening on here, isn't it?!

Fantastically well done @justdee - at target with time to spare - hurrah!!! So pleased for you....you've come such a long way! Thrilling stuff....

I always consider a maintain as a victory @queen56 - so don't be disheartened at all. Just keep plugging away and you will be rewarded! The funny thing with bodies, is that you might step on the scales tomorrow and have shifted a couple of pounds...but because tomorrow isn't your weigh-in day...it doesn't count....I've had that happen tons of times...so don't worry a jot!

@tracieknits - you continue to amaze us with your dedication - very well done. Your forthcoming trip will soon be upon you...and what great shape you are in for it - hurrah! I love that your hybrid plan works so well for you! It's a shining example of how important it is for us to find just what works for us...and stick to it. None of us are the same - we have different pressures, different lifestyles and different psyches...so why should just one thing work for everyone? A bit of tweaking here and there and you've come up with something so workable...but more importantly, so sustainable for you. I think that's totally brilliant...and am really enjoying following your determined progress. That 100-and-something barrier is soooooo close - you'll be smashing through it this week...no problem!

Hey @nursebean - I am so happy for you! Smashing your target right out of the park/water/everywhere!!!! And such an ambassador for BSD now - brilliant! I'm so thrilled you're getting the results you deserve because you've really turned things around...

Big shout out to @grannieannie and @azureblue - remember how fickle those blooming scales are and how they are not the be all and end all....even if most of us worship them in the absence of having anything else to focus on. They have such a power over us - which is not remotely good. I know how disheartened I get when I haven't got the reward I think I deserve...but we would all do well to get a little perspective on things. Any time we manage to make good choices where food is concerned...is a major victory in my book. Eaten a biscuit or two? Be proud that it wasn't half a packet...or even a whole packet (been there, done that many times). Pat yourself on the back...for stopping. But then, move on. We're human, after all. We all have triggers. While we're on the subject, how about a big pat on the back for stepping up to the plate and publicly setting yourself a challenge for the summer? That's major....

Mondays are my weigh in day - so here's the report. Weighed in at 176.2lbs.....so may I please have another star JD? It puts me 6.2lbs down on my start weight for this challenge...so I need to drop 3.8lbs in the next fortnight if I'm to reach my 10lb target...but to be honest, I'm pretty thrilled to be chugging along...whilst living life at the same time. Let's not forget that there was the little matter of afternoon tea last Tuesday.....rather a lot of carbs on parade that day, I can tell you! I'm still doing 16:8 most days - the only exceptions are when I end up eating dinner a bit later than 8pm...as I never eat til gone noon everyday - whatever the hunger pangs say!

So, we're into the home straight now, girls! Good luck everyone - let's do our best - that's all we can ask of ourselves xxx
hello accountabuddies :)

its been ages since Ive had the time sit down & read through so just wanted to say hi to all. HI xx

well done @nursebean on your continued losses & reaching goal Ive just read. woohoo :like: @grannieannie hope things are going well for you. confused also about your ups & downs but as some have said might just be the weather :) @nursebean am I reading this right? youve given up chocolate!! @tracieknits you must be on your countdown to Paris now. not long to go. @justdee woohoo, just read that you have reached your target weight/stars. woop woop fantastic. weigh to go hehe @queen56 well done on a maintain & not a gain. @hazelnut20 woohoo. nearly at target with another lb loss. brilliant & me, well dee please may I have another star :) Im down to 11stone 2lb. couldnt believe it staring up at me this morning (not using boots scales now that auntie has bought borrowed scales home). so thats the lowest Ive been since losing my dad 8 years ago when I lost a stone in a month to about 10stone & then putting it all back on again plus a bit more for good measure.

we are all doing so well. Im sure Ive missed a couple of us but want to wish everyone good luck on the home stretch ~ we can do this & then we need to have a virtual party celebration. shelley xx
Well done @Johns and @Hazelnut20!! Or Shelly and Pernelle! Pernelle, we've seen you lose that small amount in one week, so I'm sure you'll make it in two :-) And Shelly, that's a huge help having your scales back at home. You're doing so well!

I am cautiously optimistic for this week. On Mondays, I usually weigh the most of the week. And I don't track the weight or announce it so long as it's less than 2 pounds over my recent low weight. So I'm happy to say that today's weight doesn't qualify for tracking and is 2.9 pounds less than last Monday's weight. So I'm hoping that Wednesday, my official weigh in day, will be kind. I've also made a couple of weekly goals for myself - I need to stop drinking so much, and keep it to not more than twice a week. I've not gone over my points, but spending 9 points on wine, three times a week, is just not smart for weight loss. I also have been a little lax with my exercise, not quite making my 70K steps for the week and not always making my 10K steps for the day. I'm going to do a better job with that this week :-)

I leave for Paris in two weeks and 3 days. >.<
Hello everyone!

I did not lose anything of weight because I have had an accident and have used drugs and have not done exercise, hopefully resume this week with fasting, I have much still to lose weight.

The positive side is that not gained weight! this is really good!

A hug!
Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments...very much appreciated. Here's to a fantastic two final weeks of this challenge.
Well done Shelley @johns & Pernelle @hazelnut20, you're both doing great, keep it up. You're so right @nursebean, No shame in a maintain. Stick with it @Queen56and @Ana56. Ana56 I hope you're ok after the accident, take care.
@justdee :like: :like: :victory: Congratulations!!
@johns and @hazelnut20 :like: :like: :victory:
I like that term 'accountabuddies' - and it's true. If not for you and the challenge I may have quit. Nice work maintaining @Queen56 and others. Ana56 - sorry for the accident. Get well.
This week my attention is on my son and daughter-in-law who flew in from Pittsburgh yesterday. We went out to eat. No dessert, but I had fries and lobster roll. Can't live in Maine and not have "lobstah" at least once a year. If we eat out again, it will be salad.
:clover:  Luck and hugs all. Ann
