Just started my 4:3 diet! My days are going to be Monday, Wed, and Friday because I work those days and its easier for my to not think about eating. I have done this style of dieting in the past so I know I wont have very much trouble sticking to it.

So far it's mondays and fridays, a nice way to begin and end the week. Wednesday is a backup day if one of the other two days doesn't work (party etc.). I plan the days around my spinning class (lunchtime mon-wed-fri) since I don't have time for much lunch on those days anyway I might as well fast :)

I am doing 4:3 it seemed logical to me to do it mon, wed and fri. I think because I get a day break and my kids are at school so I can relax a little more.

Mondays & Wednesdays - mine was a process of elimination:

Friday - go out to dinner/order pizza with my bestie.
Saturday - last day at work (until around 9pm) and usually have a very late dinner/business meeting (gossip sesh) with my parents
Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday - Days I potentially see my partner so I like to leave them open for whatever.

Which leaves Monday and Wednesday! Also, gets it over with and sets your appetite for the rest of the week.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday on my end. Gives me a break in between days and I can stick to it! If necessary, will switch days if special occasions come up. But, majority of time, those 3 days are fixed.

I chose Monday and Thursday because I think it was suggested and most peeps seemed to pick that. Works for me, beginning of a new week - focused. I work 5 days a week - Mon / Fri, so skipping lunch (never had breakfast) when you are very busy anyway does not seem like a big change. I've kept to Mon/Thurs to date and see no reason to change it so far. I hope that helps.

I fast on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Threw an extra day in there, my body needs it. I am not sure where I read it, but are we required to drink coffee on fast days? Or can it be tea? And does it have to be decaf tea?

You drink what you want @makinithap2014 but if you use milk or sugar you count the calories. It's important to keep hydrated to help keep dehydration headaches at bay so drinking water Or fruit or herbal teas are a good idea. And maybe an oxo cube, or similar, are a good bet to keep salt levels up (these can lower a lot on fast days). If you normally drink caffeinated drinks then you should still drink some on fat days otherwise you could get a headache from caffeine withdrawal.

Similar to most of you, weekends would never work for me due to social life, kids and husband. I only started last week (on a Thursday of all things) but this week fasted Monday and Wednesdays. The idea is that if I start each week off with a successful fast day I am hoping to keep to it with the option of two more days to choose. I like the idea of it being flexible. Have read a lot of information in the last week on fasting in general (saw a Wolverine interview and Hugh Jackman achieved his new body with half day fasts). As I've never been a breakfast person I like the idea of not eating until after 11 or 12 and limiting all intake of food in the next 8 hours. So your body does a full 16 hour fast every day. It is apparently the sustained length of time with no food only water that is supposed to hyper-activate all the benefits of the fast. Apart from not having my morning coffee I am not finding it hard to do at the moment (fasting seems ironically to diminish my want for food on and after fast days) and it school holidays. So during the work week it should be easier. Love the idea of fasting and hoping it works for me. I love reading the blogs to hear everyone else' experience and am especially hopeful given all the amazing success stories I'm reading.
