That's great about having already lost your Christmas weight! I've only lost a quarter of it.

I wish I was going to California today. It's going to be going down to -10 F tonight here and it was so cold last night that the salt hasn't melted off the snow that fell yesterday (which wasn't in the forecast.) So I'm pretty much stuck in the house. Easy to diet, too, as I haven't been to the store this week and there's nothing tempting in the fridge.

Checking in from the frozen north lol. All though we are no were near as cold as Canada. A lot of schools are closed today due to the -40 windchill but I home school so it is a normal day for us. My friends up in Ely said the wind was -55 but they still have school up there lol. I'm on my 2nd 5-2 day today and although it is cold out, the sun is out :) My husband company gives us discounts on our insurance if we wear a fitbit so I finally have one. I need to hit 10,000 steps every day to get the discount so this is a new motivation for the new year.

Hmm... Just a thought, but have you considered attaching them both to your dog? Around the collar might work. But one around a front leg and the other high around a back leg on the opposite side ought to be odd enough to really keep the dog up and moving.

lol our dog is to fat and lazy and the cat is to old. We have thought about attaching them to the kids though. But decided that wouldn't' be honest :)

Hi, guys, don't hate me but its been in the 80's (F.) all week here in So.Cal, after a freezing New Year (New Years day it was in the 30's for the start of the Rose Parade! - a record low).

Still, its supposed to start cooling down now, back to normal temps in the low to high 60's. Still, don't hate me - everyone on the other coast!!!!!!

Good Morning......brrrrrrrrrrrr. Single digits, woohoo!!!! Not looking forward to heading out for boot camp in 45 minutes. First I have to run out and start my car.....sure wish I had automatic start!

Having a good week. Today is a fasting day, but I think I may have screwed myself up by having a low day yesterday. I'm afraid it is going to make today's fast VERY difficult. We'll see. I need to just do 5:2 and quit messing with it. Patience, patience

So....when are we all leaving for California?

I'm in NYC. Just started yesterday. So far, so good!

I too am wondering why there isn't more interest in the US. Wish there was a support group in NYC!

@lovemyparrot. Keep that sun shining for me. I just checked the temps for when I get back home next week at it says it will be 64 deg in the North
Sorry everyone else is so cold. Stay warm and safe.
Done my 3 mile walk already, now on a train to the office for the next couple of days. Have packed my gym gear as the hotel has a decent gym.

Welcome rightgirl! Always glad to "see" a new face! rawkaren is right.......lots of friends as close as your computer or phone!

Boot camp was brutal. I seriously think the trainer is trying to kill us. :dazed: Of course, I'll be back tomorrow for more abuse! Actually, it's not abuse. It is not the yelling type of boot camp, it is ALL encouragement and support. I love it! (But it is freakin' hard!)

Fast day today and I've had only about 150 calories so far. All protein.......very few carbs. I always have my protein shake after boot camp.

Have a good one!
