A daughter who runs a bakery, I'd be glad she is 1,500 miles away. As it is mine is in Dubai and only 7 weeks to go before she is back for her holidays.

I've finally got around to starting on the pallet decking between the sheds today. The first job was the messy one of moving my compost bins/heaps (very big ones) out of the way and then moving it all back into the bins. The shovelling and turning and aeration will have done it the world of good and it all fit back into one bin, so the other is now free for making more compost. Tomorrow is sort out the decking day. I could probably do with some more pallets but the car is in the garage so I have no way of carrying one.

Recommended President butter to me..well,readers, i bought it.
Made a ham sandwich for my lunch..not TOO much President butter on it,but enough to get the taste..its yummy! X

Hello everyone !

Today is what we call here "la fête de la musique", or the music holiday which means the streets will be noisy all day and all night long and it will be a big mess as usual. Damn....

I have a young man living just above my head for a month or so now and last night was crazy. You must imagine a bunch of elephants moving just above your head, with the noise that goes with it. That went until nearly 2:00AM so you can imagine how mad I was. So..... I decided to teach him a bit of a lesson and, at about 6:00AM, I made all the noise I could until I was pretty sure he was awake. And next time I call the cops.

I have a question, in my fridge I have 4 eggs that has to be eaten befire wednesday so I have only today and tomorrow to eat them as I will fast monday and tuesday, well not eat solid food at least. So my question is, can I prepare 2 today and 2 tomorrow without them being bad ? I mean, I always learned that, having eggs several days in a row was bad and I need to find a way to deal with those eggs as I can't stand not using the food I have

Me and DD are watching cricket on tv..over 200 miles apart..neither of us know anything about cricket..we're only watching coz her hubby is with a stag party in the audience( do you call cricket spectators an " audience" ?) and we're hoping to see him
As D D said,its quite relaxing to watch something when you have no idea about, investment in, or opinion whatsoever of the outcome! Think we will bore of it very quickly tho! x
