Umleila, good luck with the packing and safe travelling back to Saudi :clover:

I would love a way of identifying who some of the group members are in terms of their forum names, perhaps if you are called something different "over there", or if your photo is different you could make yourselves known?
Umleilla, have a safe trip. I'm fine with the closed group. Welcome to the new fit bitters and see you in the group. As usual you are probably all asleep and here it is 5:50 pm. Did 12.5k steps so far but planning to do more. Need to shop for groceries, but this usually doesn't add much steps, will have to jogg around the house I guess
I got my fitbit one today! Joined the group and hope to get a few steps in at some point today.
Yea Sian,

I noticed my name is Tim on there so I have updated my photo to be the same :-)
I'm Betsy M on the group, how do I get it to say Betsysgr8?
And I've updated to be Penny F.
It's been such an exciting day!!

On the browser version of the dashboard.

Up the top right of the dashboard there is a little Cog - click that and select settings then the top box will appear as your name :-)
Hmmm question... My calorie burn goal just increased from 2184 to 3018 ... What causes that to change..? That's massive!!

The only thing I changed was my weight (decreased by 700grams)
I think closing the group is a good idea, at least temporarily. As a reminder, anyone currently in the group can send an "invite" to someone who wants to join. So, if someone inquires on a different thread, any of us can reach out and invite them to send us their email address.

Which by the way can be "any" email address, it doesn't have to be the one they use for here, or for the fitbit. When they receive an invite, it will prompt them to use what email they want...sounds complicated, but it's not really.
Glad to here and taking my first steps on 5:2 with Fitbit.
Hi and welcome Rockyromero. It's good to see you on here :) congrats on your new fitbit betsysgr8.

I've no idea about your increase in calorie burn tbreweton. I'm sure it's not because of your weight stats. I read somewhere yesterday that some flexs have not been resetting at midnight when they are on less than 20% power at night. Could that be the case with yours?

I have closed the group this morning. So now it is completely private and only viewable to members.

SianS is it correct that any member on the group can add a new member or is it just me?

Have a great day everyone and a goodnight to Einatlb and others in a different time zone :)

I have the One Umleila, all other stats are current for the day - it was just after I updated my weight that it changed the target. I have just manually reset it to what this forum says it is...

Also just heard I should get my replacement aria scales tomorrow - fingers crossed this set works as intended :-)
I've just updated my profile so my nickname is the same as my name on here. The community really is a great way to stay motivated!
Good morning Fitbitters,
I've been for a run this morning which has given my steps a good start to the day.
If you remember last week when my Zip went crazy telling me I was using 7000+ calories a day, I contacted support and within 8 mins they emailed me back offering me a new Zip. It has just arrived, and of course in the meantime my old one has regained its senses. So I have given the new one to my OH. He doesn't fast but has lost over 2st since Christmas when he had one of those BUPA health checks which told him everything was too high.
Thanks to everyone who has renamed themselves on the Fitbit group
