Thinking about getting the fitbit one as well as Aria scales.

Was going to go with the flex as I would prefer something I can just put on and forget about so to speak but then read that typing will count as steps and considering I type for most of the day that wont work for me hahaha

One question, is the fitbit One small enough that I could just put it in my wallet? I take that every where with me and so it would mean I am less likely to ever loose it.

Look forward to the feedback from other users :-)

I don't believe the fitbit one will fit in your wallet. My husband and SIL both wear their's clipped to their inside pant pocket or shirt pocket if they have one. I would be concerned about smashing it in a wallet.

Yeah, I don't think it would work inside a wallet, either. Maybe if you clipped it facing outside on the fold?? But, I wonder if it might get smashed or damaged by sitting on it? Also, not sure about accuracy there since it is designed for use at the waist or above.

Cool thanks for the feedback :-) I guess it wouldn't be the end of the world clipping it somewhere - just gotta remember its there haha

I am going to start tracking my food intake using their app and if I start using that regularly I will get the fitbit one and scales too

I have a Zip and usually wear it clipped to my jeans pocket on the hip. On the rare occasions I wear a dress I clip it to my bra (this is recommended by FitBit, really!). I'm really glad I bought Aria scale too, it really helps me link my activity to my weight changes in a meaningful way.

I use MyFitnessPal to track calories, (when I do that these days) it syncs with Fitbit and also syncs with Runtastic which is the GPS running app I use on my phone. I like MFP because it has a huge database of UK foods - even though a few user submitted ones are wayy out.

Haha she's as thin as a pencil and uninterested completely!

I imputed all my stats for today manually on the fitbit app and then showed her and explained to her how the scales and "one" would integrate automatically to the app etc - sold!

And now brought haha can't wait for my new toys to arrive will join the group once I'm set up and running

A cautionary tale about my Fitbit Zip - I am away from home for a few days and just used my laptop to sync my fitbit. I put the Zip on top of the console, where it blended perfectly into the shiny black surface.
I closed the lid of the lapto and felt a slight resisitance, and now that I have started the lappy up again I have b*gg*red the right hand 25% of my screen
