Angcat hope youve managed to join by now :) The group is open, so should be fairly simple. If not, let me know.

Golinda I wear my fitbit at night too! The only times I take it off is for the shower and then I put it back on as quickly as possible.

SianS you could always tyoe and walk! I do all of my posting on the phone or ipad. Can make you a but dizzy though.

I had a very busy day yesterday and got in more steps than usual, but today is rainy and I don't think I'll be getting out as much, so lots of pacing around the house and running up and down the stairs methinks.

How's everyone doing today? Hope you have a good day

Hi there,

I am also a fitbit convert although I have not been doing the 5:2 since April as it made me feel ill. I have low vitamin D and the effects of this diet made it worse. Now I am a bit wary wether to start again.
I now have my supplements and feel better, although I am going through the dreaded meno too lol.

Anyway, sorry count me in please :)

just reading these posts and checked my bra - no fitty! Remembered that I changed my bra about an hour ago - all those uncounted steps! It doesn't feel like you've done the steps if Fitty hasn't counted them does it?

I'm exhausted just did my PB 13500 for the day, i know that might not sound alot but i really have to work at it as i work in an office.

I absolutely love my fitbit and its only been 5 days, I was starting to make excuses for not wanting to exercising as we are in the middle of winter but it has just got me so motivated.

Ang, I had a moment like that a couple of months back, and eventually found it clipped to my sports bra on the washing line - it survived.
Well done Zingbing, exercise helps keep you warm too.

Madlou I think the groups system only updates at certain times of the day, the last time was 13.55 UK time so if you signed up after that you might not be recognised yet

Recently i started doing plenty of "running in place" in the evening, in front of the TV and in the bathroom...is that normal ? I think we invented a new disease or syndrome... Not sure how to name it... Fitbititis or fitbit movement disorder or...any other ideas? it affects predominantly women and the major symptoms are restlessness, abnormal desire to climb stairs and frequent close looks into their bra. A less common symptom is a look of horror on their face from time to time( when they can't find it)...

Just wait Zingbing, you will think of more ways to get steps in the office. We take the long way around at work when visiting the restroom. If we need to discuss something, we head out to the parking garage and walk the ramps. It's truly amazing how you can get more steps with just a little effort.

I found mine clipped on my bra in the hamper once. Since then I started putting it immediately on my new clean bra whenever I take one off. After that I have only left the house without it once because it was on the charger. I was so mad because I went to the mall, several stores, walked all over and when I went to check it I remembered leaving it hooked to the laptop. :curse:
