Good morning!
Today will be my second fast. The first (on Monday) went great so I've been looking forward to today.

Lots of sparkling water, fruit/herbal teas and black coffee all day and then tonight I'll have a grilled chicken breast on a bed of shredded lettuce and cabbage, with Thai dressing (from the book).

I have about 40-50lbs to lose so I'm hoping this WOE will be the answer combined with low-carb eating.
First week done, lost 6lb. Well pleased. Fasting today porrige and lots of water.
Hi All, I'm in.
Fast number 6 for me and will be having green tea and fizzy water all day and a cup of bovril at lunch time. I had a good dinner last night at about 7:00 and a g&t, so I make that 10:30 by the time I stopped putting stuff in my tummy!! I will be saving my 500 calories for dinner tonight (we should have a name for doing that) didn't feel hungry this morning, so hope to do ok. Will be having baked cod loin with lemon and black pepper with mushrooms and spinach for dinner and will fast right round till 11:00 tomorrow morning.
I seem to have fallen into a weekly routine of 2 fast days and 2 really good days, over the top on Fridays (curry, wine and chocolate, my downfalls) then 2 reasonable days on Saturday and Sunday. seems to be so good, so far.
Good luck everyone
Grrr did it again, wrote a post and hit the wrong button. Still, good morning all, I'm at work and fasting. Small problem with evening meal, I only bought on ready meal so I'm wondering what to eat when I get home.
I know carbs are not recommended on fast days but I actually fancy beans on toast, I'll see how I feel later.
Have a good day all. xx
Me too for today - I usually do Mondays and Thursdays. Gave myself an ego boost last night by trying on a few clothes that I know were feeling very 'snug' a couple of months ago and they feel (and look) much better, so I'm feeling very motivated and will keep my water bottle topped up at work
I'm in. No breakfast just having the first coffee. Almond milk and strawberry shake for lunch. Soup for dinner. I stick to same format, boring but i find it easier. Nothing else until fri lunch then out for lunch with mum, start of the weekend and anything goes, i just watch portions. Good luck all fasters. :like:
Just been doing a bit of housekeeping and moved this thread into the Fasting today board from the general chat board. I only realised it was in the wrong place when I saw someone else had started a topic in Fasting today but got surprisingly few replies!

Anyway, I'm fasting today though feeling a bit under the weather with an uncomfortable throat which may turn out to be a cold :-(. Supposed to be going out for dinner tomorrow so am hoping it is not a cold. No excuse not to fast though!
Second fast for me today and I will stay within my 500 cals, on tuesday my first one I over shot by 200 cals. :( i have fizzy water at home so will have that for my lunch then chilli for tea! looking forward to it already but not hungry first thing which is good!
Good morning everyone, hope you all have a good fast day.

My stomach is really looking forward to a rest I think! Was out for a lovely meal last night & though I didn't think I had gone too overboard (even left half my pud which is unheard of) I feel pretty rubbish this morning. So it would appear this WOE is re-educating my body, just need to wait for my head to catch up!
16th fast for me today. Nice lazy start for me today. Feeling very relaxed about fasts these days, unfortunately my cleaning frenzies have also relaxed too ha ha.

Wishing everyone a very happy repair day x
What happened to Spring.... seems we are back in Winter here in Birmingham this morning..Brrr...having a herbal tea Blackcurrant and Rhubarb its a taste sensation .... chicken salad for dinner later about 6.00pm...
Oh yes, my 4th fast day today, I'm actually really enjoying them, not too sure I can put my finger on why!
My weigh in day is Tuesday (having started making an effort to lose some weight the day after Easter Monday) and so far I've lost 5lbs, but I checked my measurements 2 days ago and I've lost 1.5 inches from my waist already! I must have been really bloated! Result
Fasting today. I woke up with a headache but that seems to have disappeared by itself which is nice. Bit nervous after Tuesday's rubbish fasting experience but determined not to let it put me off.
my fast is almost over and still about 150 cals left over in case I go psycho b4 bed again - I can have a lovely bowl of cabbage lol. Been an easier fast and I am feeling super full after a big bowl of 8 cal hot choc. Must get better organised for my dinners.
Morning all. Also fasting today and counting back it must be around fast number 60!! Wow how time flies. Weight loss has stalled over the last month due to Easter and 20th wedding anniversary  , however, determined to reach my target by the end of May.
Have a good one.
