Monday morning here and fast day, slight overindulgence over the weekend, feeling bloated this morning, but know by this evening will be fine again!
Coffee for bfast then leaving the omelette until as late as possible lunchtime, bit cool here this morning but heading off for a walk soon.

Hope all todays 'fastees' ? 'fasticators' ? have an easy day.
Morning all, I'm in. Week 5 fast number 9. Green tea, fizzy water and bovril, then chicken and salad for dinner. Thinking about what to make a decent dressing from. Any suggestions? Thanks

Some of you are making me feel nervous with the too much water and too much sodium controversy posts though. Surely being sensible and everything in moderation is the key?

Wendy, what about just a few drops of Balsamic as a dressing ? we have a few different flavoured ones we use.
Thank you Old Nog, I get a bit confused about balsamic vinegar/ glaze. I use the vinegar usually with olive oil. Do you mean vinegar or glaze? Never bought the glaze but have seen it. Never seen flavoured ones, will have a look.
Im in today, got a difficult week food wise so need to have a couple of great fast days. fingers crossed, Good luck to all fellow fasters today

I was reading a herbal last night that recommended avoiding all types of tea and coffee if constipated as the tannins have a bunging up effect. It suggested fennel seed tea and dandelion coffee instead as they aid the digestive system. I'll pop to the health food shop today and get some to try, the walking exercise on my fast day will help Dr MM says.

First fast today had it all planned, but my son is sick. Off to Dr's in a little while.

Shall keep going though, really need to lose some weight.
Been fasting all day on water and green tea. Now dinner is in the oven! Some chicken breast, corn, broccolini and one small potato. This is my second fast, the first time I tried 3 small meals and this time obviously trying one 500 cal meal! I think I was less hungry today but felt weaker so now I'm undecided about what method is best for me. Hmmmmmmmm.....

PM sent re flavoured balsamic, don't want to hijack the thread!

I do find it helps me munch the lettuce though, few drops sprinkled on salad give it a lift on fasting days :like:

Morning all faster's!

I'm on my second fast today and going for a true 22 hr fast with nothing but water and maybe a cup of bovril later if I need it. Then I get a nice 600 cal meal for evening meal which I'm looking forward to!
Feeling ok at the moment but it's only 10am and i've had 1 cup of tea, 1 glass of water and a Yakult to keep my stomach in check!

When I fasted last Thursday I ate lunch (small porridge), but felt really hungry all afternoon then could only have a small meal of low cal sausages and veg mash.

Will be interested to see how I fair today :)

I'm in for a Fast today! Looking forward to it after a "stress eating" weekend.

The start of week 4 here and I'm a bit upset with myself. I've really not been giving this WOE a fair chance. The fasting days are going well, but on my feasting days, I've been eating chocolate and everything else that I know I shouldn't. In 3 weeks, I'm down 2.5 lbs(after a 1/2 lb gain last week) so I'm not totally off track, but I have to tighten up my eating a lot.

I'm looking forward to seeing a loss this week! :victory:
