Am fasting today also. It feels good today, needed after attending my best friends hen night at the weekend when we had a wonderful tea with lots of cakes and mini sandwiches, followed by dinner at Jamie's italian and the next day a very nice breakfast! Oh, and a just a bit of alcohol ;)

I was talking/raving about the diet with my friend's cousin. I am trying to persuade her to come on here! Hopefully will see her around, it is her first fast day today!

Good luck to all the fasters today. I hope you all have a good repair day.:)
It's an hour since lunch and i've succumbed to a cup of Bovril!
Apart from that feeling good if a little tired, but our little one woke us at 4am which didn't help

I think i'll defo be able to make it till this evenings meal!
I'm fasting today, my 3rd since starting 5:2. I really enjoy the fast days it makes me so organized. Good luck to fellow fasters today
my first day today, had a boiled egg and 2 crackerbread and tea with skimmed milk
Still planning to go through to dinner! Just having another mint tea...
Week 14 fast 32 - so far so good. Trying liquids( not cup a soup) only til tea time. Trying herbal tea for first time lemon&ginger - jury's still out not sure I like it
Fasted today; this was third time and the day is nearly over here but feel quite hungry - a piece of fruit would be so nice but have used up my 420 cals. I don't think spreading out over three meals is going to suit me - didn't feel like this when had just breakfast and then dinner in the evening, so will try that again for fasting day four.
(Must admit am looking forward to home made yoghurt and a banana for breakfast.)
Back from choir practice. Had my last cup of tea and soon off to bed. Goodnight everyone.
I'm in! Started the day with black tea. Now at work, I have my mint tea. Small "lunch" yogurt and berries and a bit of avacado. Planning a crustless quiche for tonight - first time trying this recipe, but it sounded good! Take Care all!
I'm in. Just having a cup of bouillon (and pretending it's soup) for 'lunch'!
I'm an 'only one meal' girl, so looking forward to dinner. I usually have stir fry, but today am going for chicken breast with lots of veggies so that I can have the same is OH. Not sure if it'll work...
There are so many people in the Monday club today. Hope everyone's having a good day

Ps Debbie, let us know how the crustless quiche goes- sounds a good idea!
Well, I've been at work for 1 hour and have had 3 problems come up already. It's going to be a long day. I'm terrible when it comes to emotional eating so having my 1 meal today will be a challenge. Good way to try to break a bad habit huh?
I'm fasting today also. I've had my morning coffee, so water until mid-afternoon when I will crank the coffee pot back up. Plan on having a big salad and baked catfish for supper.

Good luck everyone! Happy fasting! :clover:
Struggling a bit today :( that has come as a bit of a shock as this is my 8th (I think) fast and I've had no problem on any of the other occasions. Its probably all stress related.. Hey ho.
Well...So ends fast day No. 15.

Someone I have known for years died suddenly at work this morning. 54 years old. He was a lovely fellow, went into work and had a turn and is now gone. Obsese? Yes he was. Only a few months ago I went to the funeral of another overweight friend who passed away having lapband surgery. There are no jolly fat dead people. Just dead people that people talk about before they're in the ground saying, "Well...What can you expect when they're that overweight."

So those of you just starting your fast today in the northern hemisphere... Don't give in and break down today. This is the easiest way to lose weight that anyone has ever found. Change your life so you can continue to have one. That's certainly my game plan.

Rest in Peace, Terry.
I'm doing my 9th fast today, week 4. And it's the hardest so far. I feel so weak, tired and cold. Saving my kcal for dinner - 3 scrambled organic eggs with organic coconut oil, garlic, chili and parsley + green beans.
Coffee and herbal tea is my saviours. I pick and dry my own hearbs/leafs in summertime - black current, birch, strawberry, mint, blueberry - and I really enjoy my concotions on fast days :-)
