I had a lovely day out today as I went to the Wedding Fair in Norwich with my son and his fiancée, the cat walk show was great fun!
Have a wonderful weekend Karen, bye for now. :victory:

I was a wedding dress model 25yrs ago. It was great fun, I also got asked to model the underwear, but I was too shy. I'd do it now if my body was as good as it was then.!

There's a bit of video of me coming out onto stage, but then reversing back off, in a very shocked and unladylike was as the massive train was caught on the steps.
And another of me slipping on a very shiny floor in a calf length dress in high heels. I recovered well but looked like I'd been shocked with a cattle prod. Good memories.,
Hello my buddy @rawkaren I hope you're having a wonderful time with your OH?
I have had a great morning today...there was a Boden clearance sale on in Norwich and hubby and I had such fun in the rugby scrum there! Bagged myself a few bargains and was very pleased with myself....OH unfortunately couldn't find a thing! There was nothing left in his size.
Have you got your hands on those scales yet?????? :victory:
@carieoates. Any photo's from your modelling days? @auriga. The scales apparently went back undelivered. We don't know why. I'm waiting for my refund before I try to re-order again. Very frustrating. Its been tough this week. Just finished a 16 hour day. Survived on carbs, carbs and carbs...
Golly gosh @rawkaren - pity about the scales. What a blow!

I am so sorry to read about your long tough day - sending you hugs ((((+)))) even though im not your buddy I am just lurking!

Take care my sweet

Cheers Maggie
Hi All,
Sorry Juliana.Rivers I haven't been around much. No internet in my room and I can get onto my mobile phone only intermittently to check on here.
How are you going?Hopefully onwards and downwards still.
I too would love to see some piccies Auriga!!
I am pottering along here, fasting today and hoping for a better weigh in tomorrow as my, ahem, backlog seems to have shifted

You and me alike @Debs. Crazy busy week and i made a bit of a personal goal to remove myself from my fastday addiction and keep it to no more than 3 posts a day mid week. Not sure how long i can keep it up as this place is strangely addictive.

Yesterday was a bit of a disaster 4:3 wise in that it was a feast day but im sure i went way over TDEE including 1/2 a magnum, loads of porridge, a chicken stir fry, way too much SoGood Almond milk and just snacking all day.

I could feel it both lying down at night and when i woke. Quick feel of tummy and yes, the scales proved it. 71.0 kg which is very naughty for me. Have been seeing some low 70s recently so i better have a good fast day tomorrow (Friday) as im planning a rich Rabbit stew on Saturday. Depending if we can catch a rabbit (not in field but in local butcher who has promised us faithfully he will get one for us)

Apart from that, feeling good and hoping for a big work night tonight at my computer.

When do you get back Debs?
Only half a magnum???!!! I had a whole one yesterday and it was lovely, honeycomb!!
Yes, I have had to come back into the office to fiddle on here as I have no internet in my room ,and I have barely been on here all day. As you say, an addiction!!! I get days when I just snack for the sake of it, not because I am hungry, I just want to nibble! Wish I could get over that one, but I have nuts and chocolate and peanut spread in my drawer that calls out to me!
Home Tuesday 11th, so still a while yet, but on the plus side I am now flying direct to Melbourne from Port Hedland which cuts out a swathe of flying and sitting around time, so I get in at 4pm, which is civilised. When the clocks change I will get in at 3pm, so something to look forward to!
I have been horribly lazy this swing though and haven't been to the gym and feel really bad about it.

haha @debs .. very moorish though am sure its full of nasty things. i got it as a gift for helping someone out with something.

I could have eaten a whole magnum but i felt like i needed to share with OH. as all other icecream had been eaten by the icecream eating monster (daughter) and he had to have something.

any food in a drawer is lethal.

know that .. just got to eat/snack for the sake of it. not sure how to get over that one... thoughts any other fellow buddies in the buddies tent. ?

gym... do some next week and "catch up" you probably will feel better about it Debs

now thats 4 posts for today.. i have to sign off
Oh dear @rawkaren....I hope they're not working you too hard today too!!! My heart goes out to you. Thinking of you right now and it's just gone 1pm here so you might just get the vibes whilst you're sleeping, unless of course you're a morning birdie. Have a great day Karen....keep me posted on those darn elusive scales.
I did oversleep in the end (woke up at 5.30am if that counts as oversleeping). Off to bed now so hope to get some forum time on the weekend.
I finally got my scales back up and running and weighed in this morning - 2lb since 2 weeks ago - yay! Ignoring the part of my brain that is saying how slow it is given how little I am eating and focussing on the fact that it is consistently a downward trend, unlike when I have tried other methods! I should soon be a 15-stone-something - not something I thought I would ever be glad about - can't remember how long I have been over that..........

@carieoates - not much of a day off today - felt dreadful this morning as was coughing most of the night so doing some extra work this afternoon to make up plus need to do some work on hubby's claim for unpaid wages etc :frown:

currently very hungry (fasting) - am thinking about dinner - might have to be spag bog on a bed of leeks in place of pasta - no idea how many cals in our homemade bolognese just convincing myself it can't be that many!

Hope you're having a good day
