Yay :) that really is good news.

I think if the chat stays here, I'll have to change my siggy though to say we can be found here.

Didn't get my running training in this week. Basically we have had a few power cuts this weekend. And today I had to give it a miss, because of this. So I went shopping and had a lunch out with my daughter instead. This is going to be a messy "Birthday week"

More cold snowy weather here, resulting in my not leaving the house all day :frown:
Hubs and I watching olympics on the third floor, and I running down and back up during commercials. Him asking "where are you going?" Me not wanting to admit that was my exercise for the day. Result: Just 4700 steps, but 50 floors. It didn't seem like that many, honestly.

EDIT: Ended day at 5945 steps, 63 floors. Not bad for an inside day, I guess.

Hi @wendyjane. Yes I was quite ashamed at our eating today as we watched the Olympics. But the cold weather just makes you want to stay bundled up and eat. Finally, headed out at 8:30 pm to shovel the little bit of snow it dumped this evening. Did our driveway and the two neighbors who are 88 and 95 years old. Reached 9800 steps for the day...close enough I say.

Fifty flights of stairs is quite a workout. That's my goal everyday and sometimes I do it all in one go. When I first started my legs were like jelly and it still gets my heart rate going up nicely :)

Happy stepping to everyone today.

Good for you, @GoLinda, for helping out the neighbors like that! And good for you, too, at the same time.

And @Umleila, I'm sure it's a lot more of a workout when done at one go. Spread out over the day, I feel like I didn't get much exercise at all. But the Fitbit gives me more of a sense of accomplishment than just doing it without the feedback. I'm quite pleased with my little one.

Yes, I love my one too. I'm quite conflicted because I should be getting my new force within the next few days and not sure if I can give up the one.

Why did you decide to get a force?

I didn't really!

A good friend bought me a fitbit zip almost a year ago. Then my husband got me a one in the summer which I love. The same friend has now got me a force as she is very happy with hers and wants to share the love!

She initally got it for me as a xmas prezzie but when I opened it, she realized she had mistakenly bought a flex instead, so she took it back with her to the states and has changed it with a force. I am hoping to see her in the next few days :)

@carieoates Happy Birthday! Loving the card hehe.

My step counts are getting abit low... my asthma has flared up (I'm blaming the cold, damp weather) and worried that exercising might make it worse. Might try some fast walking on the cross trainer later and see how I get on :)

Well I'm back home and hopefully can get a decent step count happening again. Really missed walking so much, I find it's meditative and it helps me destress.

Thankyou all for thirty day wishes. Just getting used to my new flex. Missing the number display. And have sold my one to my mate at work.
