Now young rawkaren, this doesn't count as insomnia, just an early riser!!

I know I'm just nosy. I wanted to pick up on the night time action but looks like everyone slept well. Anyway what's your excuse? It's not night time yet for you!

Anyway, I have nothing to do at work so I am prowling the forum instead!

!! Today I am in my sexy all-encompassing luminous yellow safety shirt that comes to my knees, daggy, baggy heavy cotton blue trousers that you could stuff a badger into, steel toe-caps that I use to kick hapless workmen into line and my girly pink safety glasses! Oh, and a hard hat!

It's funny debs, you're here when i go to bed then you're here when i wake up. It's surely your bedtime very soon.
I have been a bit tired for about a week now, and needing a little nap. Blooming anaesthetic still there??? . I don't know how long this lethargy will last.
So I'm all topped up now. Don't know what everyone else's excuse is though. Going to unload the dishwasher in a min and make a bit of noise to get them all stirring.

I'm your insomnia stalker!!!
I have a couple of hours to go until bedtime.
I have had nothing to do at work so I have been making up for lost time by spending time on here reading and being the insomnia fairy! When you start work at 6am it tends to span a few time zones!

Quite right. You're up so should everyone else be!!

  ... Getting up now

missed a lot on this thread and Anwyl last night (catching up on my reading  ) ... Your outfit doesn't sound like what an insomnia fairy should be wearing @Debs - and I love the idea of you being a small brightly coloured balloon - surely not??   and @rawkaren - maybe orange is the colour for 2014 so far? Certainly more cheery on this cold and frosty morn ...

Afternoon all, I finally managed more sleep after doping myself again. I'm still in pain this morning but so far, with meds, it's manageable. This mornings break-fast was weird. I went with what my body wanted, which was a small fistful of peanuts, 2 slices of cheese and an apple. So all food groups were covered and I felt good on it. I have just been tempted by the little homemade flapjack bites that my visiting friend gave me yesterday. So I've had the equivalent of half a flapjack for lunch. Plus I jumped on the scales and I've put on 1.5 pounds since my post Christmas weigh in. I was ever so careful over Christmas, I guess the New Year celebrations were a bit too much.

Just opening up this tent again for everybody - as @Debs doesn't seem to be around tonight

But maybe we've all had such an exhausting day - with new puppies, old forum friends reappearing, TOAST ... more TOAST, not to mention low carbs, and the odd spat or two ...that everybody has gone to bed early and is :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy: away ... ??
