It's hard to sleep when the rain is lashing down on the roof and the doors are rattling! Little did we realise, when we had our bathroom and en suite revamped and the now obligatory extractor fans fitted, that said fans allow gusts of air into the room and cause the doors to rattle when it's windy. Bother. As if I needed anything else to keep me awake at night!

Rain lashing noisily at the windows up here. At least we had a calm night last night. But don't really want to have another night's broken sleep before work, much as I love you all in here

Who's been spitting, that's not allowed.
It's v windy, touch wood our fence wont blow down. It's the only section that hadn't been replaced or strengthened in 14 yrs is now very wobbly.

Theres only one source of wind here and its me I'm afraid. Oh boy, my body does not like me today. I have finally carb'd myself out I think. All the treats are hidden away, but hubby will probably kick me to the sofa tonight, after I have revenge on him of course.

Hellooooo! Anyone here tonight? no? Well I better tie these flaps down and close up for the night then. It's getting a bit windy and very wet out there, we wouldn't want the shag pile and the disco ball to get wet now, would we?

Off to bed in a bit. I'm going to have fun tonight... revenge is soooo sweet.

Ooooh wish I'd seen this thread at 5am when I was doing my usual sleepless couple of hours. Time to get up & shower now, but at least I know where to come to in future :like:

Looks like a relatively 'quiet' night in here then - if not outside. Hope everyone did get a good night's sleep after all

Well I did wake up at 2.30am with 'carb flu' (ate TOAST yesterday), but didn't log on as I thought I would never get back off. I got up with OH at 4am in the end and then went back to bed and did manage to sleep for an hour. Now I'm late and should not be here!

I wish I had found this tent last night when I was awake all night with nerves about returning to work after the holiday! Now I know where to hide out when I can't sleep xx
