No but I did wake up with it on my Birthday morning, I am just covered - torso, legs, arms, and hands.

It's as pretty much as bad this morning as yesterday, so I hope the antihistamine kicks in very soon, as I am scratching myself to death!!

Hey there, that's no good! Unfortunately I have got the waft of warmed apple strudel from a couple of desks along from a skinny frenchwoman, and it is painful!
No sleep for you again? Are you taking the magnesium tablets?

Hiya x! I only started the magnesium tonight..coz i was looking for ones Caro recommended..
not oxide or sulphate..i found citrate which are 300 mgs which Caro said is the amount you need to take 2 hrs before bed..
Even if doesnt work tonight am hopeful it might do very soon
Apple strudel....how vexing of the skinny frenchwoman..damn her eyes! ( no i take that back! )

..some skinny people are fat on the inside..they have lots fat round their internal organs which is worse than external fat..i reckon frenchy is one of them so go and remove her strudel ..you will be dojng her a favour but dont let it fall into your mouth by mistake!  x

Too late, she has snaffled the lot, but I shall tell myself that to make me feel better. I shall have a coffee with creme fraiche shortly to assuage the hunger pangs.
I managed to get the magnesium from ebay that Caro takes, I am hoping that these, plus cutting back on the liquid in the afternoon improves my sleep. Plus I had cut down my HRT which was playing havoc with my sleep so I have upped the dose again. I don't need sleepless nights with the hours I work!

Does it say on the bottle how much elemental magnesium it contains? I've had some 500mg citrate tablets that only contained 80g of magnesium. You need at least 300mg of magnesium itself. So in the case of the citrate tablets I mentioned you'd need to take 3 to get close (assume you get some from your food).

Thanks Caro.. good point @carorees as usual
My bottle states the caplets are 100 mg each
it states on the bottle take 3...3 caplets contain 300 mg magnesium..this gives 80% RDA but it doesnt mention elemental anywhere..
I'd forgotten you said elemental, just remembered "not oxide or sulphate."
Anyways hopefully 3 per night will help me sleep..:like:

Hello, I have hardly been in this tent. But here it is, 4.38 am, and I am breaking my fast with a hot chocolate and an Anzac biscuit. Woke up, couldn't get back to sleep. I hoped my new walking habit would have sorted out my sleeping issues, but I probably need to get more into it before it kicks in with long, luscious sleeps. I hoped i might see the Aurora Australis which has been seen in these parts over the past week, but it is raining. Hello people on the other side of the world who are awake.

Hi @SallyO! It is 2:46 PM here in the eastern US. Bright sunny day after a couple days of rain, some heavy (which we needed). I hope you are able to grab some sleep today!

Good afternoon - or good morning -@debbiejgb. It sounds nice in Kentucky today. The rain here is increasing and I will try going back to bed and reading my book with the night light so as not to disturb OH. The trouble with being awake in the middle of the night, is that you sleep late the next day and miss out on the day.

I tend to have trouble getting to sleep, then waking up at the usual time unable to sleep longer. Very long day after! Means I really crash the next night, and sleep really well.

Hey Pansy, sorry to hear that, hopefully you are sleeping now. It does happen the first few times and especially if you have drunk a lot and need to get up every half an hour!
