Hi from downunder

It's 3.40am and all should be right in my world, but I can't sleep! We went out for Chinese last night, and all I had was a meat wrapped in a lettuce leaf, and then Beef and Vegetable stir fry.

Ohh, and I had two glasses of white wine, but I did have about the same again of water!

I am not sure if I am awake because I feel a bit funny in the tummy or just because ?

Anyway, making myself a cup of tea and I will sit here and read more of the Forum.

Everything is working perfectly now, even on my iphone.

cheers Maggie

I should be fast asleep but I'm not. I was up at 6am and was traveling all day so thought I'd be giving out ZZZZZZZZZ's by now. Tomorrow I'll be getting some magnesium citrate.

Hi @justdee. Sorry you can't sleep. Being on your 'pooter won't help!

You're so right @rawkaren but tried getting an early night and it wasn't happening. I haven't been on here all day and started having withdrawals haha. Must start reading book before bed and try to stay away from the blue light. This place is too addictive.

This might not tell any of you insomniacs anything new but I did include an article on dealing with sleep problems in the fasting pages: https://www.fastday.com/fasting/how-can ... fast-days/
Feedback welcome!

Thanks @carorees and @candicemarie i'll have a read later when I get home. Will also have a look into the magnesium. I have to be really careful because I am randomly tested from drugs and alcohol at work so have to be careful what I take. Even many over the counter drugs can get me sacked. I would imagine it is a standard chemical element but best to be sure. Thanks again girls :)

Me! Went to bed at 10pm, slept, woke up by the police helicopter, slept but now wide awake since 3am. Up with a cup of rooibosh to see of that will do the trick.

Hi CandiceMarie, finally dropped off at bout 5 but sadly the alarm woke us at 6.30am so it could be a long day! No more helicopters. We live in a small village so it was quite a shock! Hope you have a good day.
