Also up early, since 6.40am, as the morning sun streams into my bedroom. @Ballerina - mine's a filter coffee, hot milk separate please - and what I wouldn't do for an Aberdeen buttery ...

Well I eventually got to sleep last night about midnight..having gone to bed at ten that was a long sleep fast even by my standards.having been awake from Thursday morning till just after midnight this morning. Today I found a book in a charity shop by Kate Harrison the 5:2 diet book and she recommend s kiwi fruit before bed . I bought some but they aren't ripe so its back to the Manuka honey and lavender until I can try them out.

Ballerina x

Just black no sugar for me please!

I woke at 3am and then 5am and have been awake ever since :-( so that's a grand total of 4 hours last night. Must have been the excitement of buying a Karen Millen dress for the forthcoming wedding attendance! (See the fashionista tent for a pic)

Oooh Phil @philxjr that doesnt sound very nice and it also sounds like it might be costly
You need to do something nice to balance this out..
Even a check up dentist visit is horrid ( AND costly! ) £ 17 or £ 18 ..for ten mins work?
My dentist is a fiend, practically climbs in yr mouth and scrubs it...painful! ...her idea of a check up.....

Thanks @candicemarieyou are right on both accounts, it wasnt nice and cost a small fortune. Will cost even more this friday. Luckily I have cover through work that I pay for monthly then I can claim back 80% Still not funny paying money you dont have for someone to hurt you

Ouch good luck with that Phil! After many years I've found a great dentist. He has all the time in the world, super attentive and first class service.

Ahhh!!! I can't sleep. It's the second time this week and it's doing my head in. It's just past 5am here and I have to be up at 8. At least I don't have work tomorrow. Having a warm glass of milk hoping that will do the trick. So much for the early night, I've been in bed for hours and hours and just can't drop off :( A least the forum seems to be working well now.

I don't know what has happened but after a while of not sleeping very well, I went to sleep around 11 last night and snoozed my alarm at 6.30 this morning, then at 6.40 then eventually got woken up at 7 by the other halves alarm and had a mad panic to get to work on time. Feel much better for having a whole nights sleep . Hope the rest of you in this tent do to soon. :)
