@CandiceMarieOh, yeah, I am a nanna to little Lara. Got told to go home from a stern nurse at 3.30am, because our son said, its nearly time, so we made our way in the wee hours of Saturday morning, we were out of sight not even in the in the ward and she said Go home. I think she may have had her training in the 60's, but i will not be negative nanny and she is a sweet little thing at 7 lb 13. and very long at 51cm.
Thanks ladies, you knew something was up at 3.30am didn't you .
Got me thinking your 3.30 am is different to mine across the globe, but anyway, will look at the world clock on my puter.

Thanks @julieathome pleased you are on the mend and getting the help you need. Unfortunately at the mo I can't afford gym membership. I have a tread mill and weights in my shed so I really need to just do some more walking I guess. I will also get back to the des as it's been months now and they said it was probably a strain and shouldn't last long. Your op sounds serious. My other half had a micro discectomy a few years ago on her lower spine and took ages for her to get back to normal. Hope u soon make a full recovery.

Three bad nights in a row. Not good! I only seem to sleep for one or two hours then wake up. I go off again quite soon but cannot sleep for long periods. Beginning to feel drained!

Take 300 mgs two hrs before bed
I am now sleeping more deeply and peacefully tho still not long enough ( four, five hrs) which is much better than nothing..x

I am an insomniac this morning. Bad cough keeping me awake. My puffer is in the pocket of my jacket and is just outside the back door. I have a horror of getting cold and am putting off getting it. I don't think I can go to work today and cough all over the children. It's 4 am and I've been awake since perhaps 3am. I do find, mind you, that I need less sleep on 5:2 than before. I often wake up early, but I never wake up early on work days.! My plan is to have a hot therapeutic drink - something with honey, lemon perhaps or cider vinegar and read a little. I have an interesting book, edited by someone I know, about the history of permaculture. I will read a chapter and go back to bed. But first: the puffer.

@Sallyo hope your puffer and the hot drink and book did the trick and you soon settled down again xx it's horrible getting up from a warm bed into the cold to go to the loo or fetch something you need!

Hope you got back to sleep @azureblue x
Sometimes cramps are caused by lack of salt in the diet x
