Yesterday's fast went fine. Feeling good after breakfast today. Good luck with your two in a row SueQ. I just can't do that.

I stayed on track yesterday. It wasn't an easy one really but I did it and managed to come in under 500. Today my weight went up a little, the first time that's happened after a good fastday, I'm sure it will sort it's self out by the end of the week. I have to say I'm already not looking forward to tomorrows fast though. Got a bit of a busy day planned so it should be fine. Have you fasted today @Sue.Q?

Yes Dee number two done and will do Thursday,
I'd got a busy day planned away from home @justdee
so I knew it would be easy no food or nibbles on hand to tempt me lol.
amazingly enough @Denversuz I actually find back2back easy to do obviously its not for everyone and being busy is always the key to success on fastdays

Have not felt good today but didn't feel like eating much. Had my usual breakfast, a small marmite sandwich for lunch and a bowl of porridge for dinner. Had cake this afternoon. Hope this will not make my fast tomorrow hard. Also have lots planned but will have to push myself.

Good girl you @Sue.Qyou make it sound easy. Well done, 2 down 1 to go. :)
I was the same last week @bobshouse I was still fine on my fastdays because I had eaten whatever I wanted on my non-fastdays, I just didn't happen to want very much. I think it's a different story if you try to cut back on non-fastdays, by fastday you want everything because you didn't let yourself have it the day before. Are you still 4:3ing or is it 5:2 at the mo? Good luck

Edit: Ooops Didn't realize we are in the 4:3 tent. Please ignore my blond moment ;) Happy 4:3ing bobs :)

Did 5:2 last week but back on 4:3 this week. I do prefer it but still need to eat less on feed days. I am slowly getting back to no snacking, just my meals.

I read a thing about peep with underactive thyroid doing better on 4:3 with a higher cal allowance..as high as 1000 cals but i wdnt go that high on a fast day..
Apparently could be better healthwise for us underactivers!
Might give it a go ..hmmmm... X

I have an unstable thyroid having periods of needing thyroxine for a while. I am meant to have my levels checked every six months but have only had it done once since moving here. I feel I know if it dips! It is one of the reasons I started fasting.

Hope you're feel better @Bobshouse
Up and shredded this morning and then breakfast. Will try and rein in the eating today- it's non fast days that are a bit overly for me.
Made the bad judgement of standing on the scales and saw a marked increase  , even with shredding and not having 'been' I didn't like it. Should stick to monthly weighing harumph

Not a good night but up early with lots to do. Have cleared the area of our 'kitchen' come hallway ready for the installation of the cloakroom. Difficult to describe but it is a very big room we will eventually divide to create a kitchen. It used to be three bedrooms! I have a bit more work to do on the lounge fireplace but plan to buy paint today for the back wall of it.
I feel a lot better with plans in place to improve our home. It is very hard living on a building site for five years!

Hi all. Yesterday's fast went fine. Neat that you enjoy the 2 in a row fast SueQ. That would be a good option for me on crowded weeks. And Dee I found for me, when I was weighing myself more I would almost always GAIN a pound or even two just before I lost a good amount. Funny. Trying to relax more....within reason....on non-fast days. I think I was being so strict last time I over did it. Oh and I had to google marmite to see what that was. Looked like jelly, but I guess not. :-)

Oh I do hope you are right about the big loss @Denversuz. I don't think that will be the case for me this week. Yesterdays fast sort of went off track at about 8pm. I don't know how many calories I had (I didn't count) but I know it was over 500. I still had a really good 20 something hours fast so I hope I didn't do too much damage. I really need to get a great fast done tomorrow, I can feel myself starting to slip, I need to hold on tight. I need to break past that 12 stone (168lbs) mark!!!!

Number 3 out of the way for me :like:
My fasting week isn't complete as my feed days are now at least 16:8 sometimes 19:5, was a little naughty yesterday but generally had a good week
and feeling good :like:
Let's see what the scales say tomorrow.

@justdee Well done you've done OK Dee and tomorrow's fast will pull everything back in line for you
We will both breakthrough that lower number barrier coz that's what were good at. :like:  :clover: :like:

Well, I'm on my third of the week. The planning has gone slightly wonky this week; Beloved has been away in hell and then intended diving on the two weekend days, but work has got in the way of then. Was going to fast as usual yesterday but ended up doing a window and will fast today. Despite it being the weekend and the only day off with Beloved. My Sunday fasts are a constant so Saturday and Sunday is not going to happen! DOn't know how you do it @Sue.Q.
Only 6 days and 19 hours until my holidays :D :D :D
and it looks as though I might be able to try for another meet up in Reading. I'm getting greedy!
