Oh bad luck winsome, I hate days like that :hugright: . It is easy to get cold when you are hungry but hang in there.

Debs - YOU NEED CHOCOLATE! :bugeyes: :shock: :wink: Make sure you get some 80% lindt or some such, and have that before bed, rather than nuts! Get a stock when you go home and bring it back with you. You know it makes sense. Ask @rawkaren. Or do I have to come over and buy you some myself????!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I do have dark chocolate in the fridge but I fancied nuts! I'm paying for it today though and I have been drinking heaps so no doubt I shall be up all night in the loo :confused:
You are most welcome to come bearing 80% Lindt though :wink:

Just be careful with dark chocolate before bed. I find the caffeine content keeps me awake :bugeyes:

oh NOOOOOOOOOOO! Yesterday I let myself down BIG TIME! It was supposed to be a fast day. I decided to try having my meal at lunch time (as recommend in Dr Varaday's book) and have a 100 cal snack in the evening. Well, after my evening snack (which was ridiculously small: half a Warburton thin with a sliver of cheese and slices of tomato) I was hungry and couldn't stop thinking of food. So I ended up stuffing my face (yes I always stuff my face) with a bowl of cereal, a creme egg, a chocolate teacake, an orange. I just didn't stop. I couldn't go over my calorie count just slightly could I. Oh no :frown:

Needless to say, this morning (when I should be back to my 2 pounds lighter) I weighed the same as yesterday. I don't think I'll eat my food at lunch time again. It clearly doesn't suit me!

Live and learn Beanster. I know I can't eat at lunchtime, however tempted I am as I will be starving too! I am desperately trying to leave my yummy ( :confused: ) meal as long as possible.
Creme egg eh? They were in te shops Boxing Day!

Can I just say...what has happened to the size of creme eggs, eh? I'm sure they've shrunk (which in my case is probably a good thing!)

Didn't manage my fast yesterday after all, as I was awake too and had an attack of the munchies. There didn't seem to be anyone in the insomniacs' tent, which, perhaps was a blessing.
No nuts or chocolate for me Debs, but there was a lovely block of Parmesan... Oh dear...

So, it's a fast day today and I'll be with all you ADFers in spirit today. Hope you all have a successful day xx

Oh just read beanie's post... my parmesan pales into insignificance. Go back to your evening meal, bean and get Mum to hide the cream eggs, the chocolate tea cakes, the cereal and ANYTHING else! xx

I know, I know! Why do I buy creme eggs? (they are such a big weakness of mine!) and cereal...I always want a bowl of cereal (when I'm bored).

Anyway, tomorrow I shall fast with a vengeance! (hopefully :neutral: )

Yes, you see I think thats something that bugs me too. I'm not a big fan of black coffee (but I do drink it) and lately I've been going off my green tea. Sometimes, if I'm really desperate, I'll put milk in my coffee and chalk it up to 9 calories...but I so hate wasting my precious calories...my preciouses!

Any recommendations for calorie free hot drinks...that are delish?

Bean, here are my suggestions for hot drinks - I can't drink coffee after 10am.
Hot squash - look for High juice or no added sugar ones.
Oxo - 13 cals a cube
Miso - mine is 13 cals a mug, but sooths the tummy rumbles

Fruit teas don't do it for me - they smell nice, but don't deliver on taste.
