Re: The ADF Tent

[tag]Winsome\[tag] I' m the exact same. i've ahd a three week break of supposedly window eating (bit of a fail there:() and am desperate to get back to 4:3.
However, i don't know if it's the exercise that I've just done or what , but I am very optimistic and feel rejuvenated: almost on a high!
Hope the feeling continues
I like it

Sounds good @janeg :like:

I still can't quite get my head around not fasting today, tomorrow OR on Sunday.

I'm sure it must feel really long for you. I've just discovered I must have eaten to much today because I feel so bloated...can't wait to fast tomorrow...and eat less the next day!

Good luck @Winsome and @Janeg with your 4:3. Hey that rhymes :)

Oh no @Debs don't despair. I'm sure you haven't put on that much. You'll soon get back in the way of it. Don't give up!

Thank you bean  . Enough to wonder if it is working for me, well just under a kg on my last low, and that is following a fast day. I am happy at how well all of you other ADFers are doing though.

@Debs it sounds as though you are tiny anyway. Don't you think the rate at which you lose will slow quite considerably when you're not far from target? Anyway, please don't leave the ADF tent. We are very few in our number!

I'm on tender hooks tonight. I've bean good today but I'm just hoping that tomorrow the scales will say either 11:8 or 11:7 which would mean I'm right on course to reach my target for Easter. I can but dream

Either way Bean no matter what the scales say you are awesome :-)

Mine deserved a compliment today... They awarded me another big drop - haven't weighed all week and I am now down again!

Check out the progress tracker - I have also lost another 2cm off my waist

Can I join in. I started 4:3 last week in an attempt to break my plateau, after a 2 week break from any fasting. The break put 8lb on the scales, obviously most of it water as I've already lost 5lb of it.

I now need to pile on the pressure to get as much weight off as possible in 6 weeks or less for my long awaited surgery. If I can get below 230lbs I will be over the moon. I have just had a day and night away with hubby and surprised myself by staying under my TDEE even though I got plastered on wine. I will be glad to get tomorrows fast done as I feel 'grubby' inside.

Please do, there aren't many of us!!! I haven't been very successful so far, but I am going to persevere!
Re: The ADF Tent

To tell the truth, I think my real problem is not eating enough of the right stuff on normal days. I have the mindset that says unless its salad them I MUST have gone over my TDEE. Yet my TDEE is very generous because of my size so I don't eat enough. That plus I react badly with water retention to wheat and excess carbs. So I am trying to cut those out or down, which doesn't leave much to eat, there are only so many veggies you can eat. I can't afford to increase the protein and trying for pulses as an alternative to meat pushes the carb levels up too high. I was comfortable last week and with a bit more fore planning this week I should be able to sort the families meals out without feeling that I'm missing something.
