nursebean wrote: Morning my fellow ADFers! And well done @Winsome that must have been such a lovely surprise for you! I'm pretty chuffed, too, because I am 3 lbs lighter than I was yesterday! I think I'm on track for my Easter goal...but it's going to be. VERY tight. I may have to take drastic action...don't know what though

Good luck if you're fasting today

Bean

Hey @nursebean why didn't you tell me that's fantastic news well done. Beany bob

Oh sorry Oatesy! @Carieoates - obviously getting muddled about where and when I write things!! I don't get too excited about 3 lb off because tomorrow it'll probably be back in again and then the day after it's off again...you get the picture! I guess it's the weekly way-in that's important

@Winsome wow you are really in the right zone with ADF aren't you! It's great I'm no longer alone :) and yes, you're right, this is drastic enough (plus I'm not having chocolate until Easter Sunday...can't wait!)

Fasting tomorrow anyone?

Bean

Yep, and boy do I NEED to fast tomorrow. My tummy has been hurting so much from eating far too much bread today  Wholly self inflicted.

Yes it's strange but I feel all "wibbly" today as though I'm a balloon full of water...great!

Here's to tomorrow's fast!

Night night :sleepy:

Mmm, wibbly isn't good!! (Remember weebles wobble but they don't fall down?!!!).
Still low carbing here, and had a low carb brekkie this morning and will how far through the day I get on it, pretty full at the moment, although it is only 7.30am!!

Hi @Debs, somebody mentioned you wrote a review of Krista Varaday's book, is that right? And can you post a link? That's be great! I'm pretty much 4/3ing at the mo, so I hope I'm welcome here?

You are welcome anywhere you want to go, and I will hunt it down and post it here for you.

Good morning/afternoon/evening my lovely ADF crew

Jools, welcome! I think it was deb's review that got me in here and there's no looking back now

Fasting today. Weight 12.1.6 so not much different to yesterday despite the bread incident.

Have a good one guys and girls x

Hi there Winsome, up early?!
Bread incident, like the sound of that  Beaten into submission by a baguette!! Actually, how was your loaf, tasty?
Re: The ADF Tent

Hmm don't know whether I meant to say wibbly or wobbly but I guess they pretty much mean the same...you get the picture anyway!

@Debs are you still doing ADF? I can't keep up, but wasn't sure if you were on a sabbatical. Glad you still visit the tent, though, it wouldn't be the same here without you,

@Winsome is it going in the right direction or what? I'm really pleased today because normally on my weigh-in after a feast day I gain 2, sometimes 3 pounds. This morning I discovered I've gained just a pound! Could chocolate abstinence really be the cause? Anyway, I am a very happy bunny, not quite an Easter bunny yet...but heading there

Have a great day folks!

I am still doing ADF and am eating today. I only had a week off when I was on r&r at home two weeks ago. Back in earnest at the moment and avoiding white carbs this time around. Although a honeycomb magnum snuck into my mouth earlier today!
No, bean, please don't say it is choccy, I can't give it up for anyone!

@nursebean I reckon it IS going in the right direction! Like you, I normally have a significant increase the day after feasting. So, fingers crossed for both of us that this means a good drop overall :clover:

@Debs the loaf was fantastic! Really, really good. The crust was tasty and crisp, the crumb was like ciabatta - full of holes and soft chewy yumminess. I ate way too much and had a tummy ache last night as punishment. Serves me right! Have a look at the recipe if you dare!

And early starts... I get up at 05:30 to take hubby to the station. He commutes three hours each way for work ATM. All of his working life he's been based a mile down the road, but last year had to change to mostly working at a different site. He stayed away in hotels last year and hated it, as did myself and the girls. This year he decided to try commuting and it's better. At least he is home almost every night - I collect him at 19:48. We have routine at least. He's eating a home cooked meal. He works on the train and at St Pancras station where he has a wait between trains. I'm not sure he can keep it up all year, but we'll see.

Tough day today. I hate fasting on Wednesdays as I have (run not attend) my mum and baby group. I can resist eating the biscuits, but I always come away feeling hungry from the smell :starving:

For me the weight loss has started to decrease - which I expected to happen. But it is still dropping which is great. its usually taking me 2 fast days to see a new figure now. so Fast Feast Fast then a slight drop.

Before I was seeing a drop every fast day - when looking at my TDEE now though I am also quite lower than what I was to start

Progress tracker line still looking great tho
