Tim, that's just fantastic :like: :like: Keep up the incredibly good work :clover:

Thanks to everyone who commented on my loss. I'm pretty darned happy  Yes, it's been easy, and I feel very positive that I will get to my goal weight using this WOE.

To be perfectly honest, I have felt so incredibly liberated by ADF that getting to my goal weight has almost become a secondary issue. Yes, I am becoming evangelical about it, sorry! It's true though. I've always loved to cook, but I have thousands of recipes I've never cooked because I couldn't justify them due to being on a diet. I am working my way through them one feast day at a time  It is positively joyous in my kitchen these days

Tim and Winsome, well done to you both, it is wonderful to see the two of you doing so well with this, and not depriving yourselves at all! Your icecream sounds lovely Winsome! Isn't it funny how so many of us are compete foodies on this forum. Probably why we're all here

My weight has slipped down again very slightly, very slightly. Still persevering!!

No choc today then Debs - and you might see a more than slight drop tomorrow! :like: :clover:

Looking forward to my glass of Aldi Chablis tomorrow!

@Debs good to hear there is progress :like:

The blood orange ice cream is honestly up there with the best ice cream I've ever eaten. The children and hubby love it too. Really flavourful and creamy but refreshing. I'm tempted to buy a load of the blood oranges and freeze them to make it in the summer.

No ice cream today - I'm fasting. Hot smoked salmon and roast veggies for dinner I think.

Welcome to my world @Debs! I haven't eaten chocolate since the 10th of Feb. I don't know WHY I'm doing this to myself, but I can't stop now! :dazed:

@Winsome I so hear what you say and I love that you are working your way through your recipe books...mmm yummy! Actually, I've just downloaded a GoodFood low-carb book onto my Kindle, so am hoping for some, inspirational meals to prepare with my new-found energy!

Today is a fast day and I shall be very disappointed if tomorrow's scales don't say to me 11:7 me lady...we'll see

Good luck everyone in the relatively happy ADF tent xx

I have been having a very busy productive day. No time to sit and banter I'm afraid. The house does look better for it AND the new freezer is in situ, wired up and filled. I am a lot happier. I have literally been 'doing stuff ' non-stop since I got up at 05:45.

Just off to cook my dinner of hot smoked salmon and a heap of green stir-fried veg.Cant collapse in a heap yet as hubby needs fetching from the station at 21:30 :frown:

Easy day tomorrow. I'm trying to work out what to do about fasting as I need to plan around giving blood on Tuesday. Obviously can't fast on a donation day, so do I fast Sunday and not Monday and Tuesday, or not fast tomorrow and Sunday and fast Monday? I think the latter. Means I can have lunch out tomorrow with hubby while the children are helping at a school event AND have a roast on Sunday... :?:

@nursebean here's to a good number on the scales tomorrow for both of us :clover:

No life at all  that's why I've treated myself to two Moser Roth bars tonight - the first all week - along with a glass or two of chablis (tho not at the same time) - can you tell it's not a fast day? :victory:

Still 'hovering' on 10stone though - not going down, but more importantly, not going up either

Hope the chablis slipped down well! I blew it a bit last night, a couple of ciders with my fellow workers, a funny bunch! Fish and chips and a couple of pieces of Lindt dark orange choc. I deserved it, I must have driven over 1000 miles this week covering 344km of rail line!
Wagon today though!

Are fish and chips still as nice in all that heat?? Do they have vinegar like in good ole (northern) blighty? And what sort of fish do they use? Can't be haddock, like in God's own county ...

Hi there Silverdarling, yes the fish and chips are still good in the heat, certainly in an air-conditioned mess they are! Yes, brown malt vinegar (not Sarsons though!), lemon wedges and tartare sauce! No haddock though, usually snapper, a really nice firm fish, hoki, a NZ fish or flake, which is shark and I don't eat it.

Good choice last night, thai chicken curry too!!
