Good to see you in here @kajsa I hope that you get the full benefits of ADFing. Personally, I think it's working wonders for me (I think my metabolism is too slow for 5:2 to work that well for me)

Anyway, here's your official Bean welcome xx

It's all very quiet in here, how is everyone going? How are you going with your successful ADF @nursebean?

Had a poor fast today, an apple at lunchtime, and a small handful of mixed nuts, and a large, mixed salad for dinner. Still hungry and really wanting something sweet.

I have a slight tickly throat and headache which isn't really helping, plus being now absolutely flat out at work. At least I'm busy and the days are going quickly which is a nice change from before. I still haven't had a meal in the flashy canteen yet, maybe tomorrow night; I'm just worried that I will be waylaid by the sweet counter! I am definitely a bit better at avoiding temptation but it is best not to go there!

How is everyone else?

I'm fasting today. Yesterday I was sort of attempting a back to back after a half fast on Wednesday, but it didnt work out. Just had my hair done so that's three hours of my life I'll never get back, but it stopped me eating!

Forgive me Candice for I have sinned. It has been four days since my last cake, but I gather thinking of sinning is as bad as doing it according to some doctrines? @Candicemarie

@Debs you must be thinking along the lines of the famous Jimmy Carter line 'I have committed adultery many times in ma mind' (sic) ... So what naughtinesses have you been committing down there?? Not been on the forum much over the last few days, and missing all the daily dramas

Ah maybe that what it was!!! I haven't had a chance to get on here much recently as I am now flat out at work! Getting acorss the new job which is more than a one woman job but there we go! Apparently I get an assistant next week which will help! No naughtiness for me, lots of salads and haven't actually eaten in the fancy canteen yet, maybe today depending on how hungry I am. The food is amazing though, so many different salads and veggies. What a change! Nice bunch of people too which helps.
I did have a salted caramel chocolate or three in Melbourne before I left, and thought of you!!

@Debsglad to hear about yr assistant!
Far as i can see and after twelve yrs of living in fear and confusion as a child about what i was being taught, i became a lapsed Catholic, coz it seemed to me that you can't do right for doing wrong in the Catholic faith!
Sorry to any practising Catholics, i respect you holding yr beliefs and wd never question yr right to them, but personally ..no it's not for me,tho, wdnt go as far as Father Dougal in comedy series 'Father Ted' who says,( quote) "the catholic religion? Its just a bit of a laugh isnt it Ted!"

Funny that @Silverdarling mentions adultery,my poor sister said (as a child) in the confessional box that she had committed adultery..she'd had it drummed into her along with the other Commandments " thou shalt not commit adultery" ,had no idea what that meant,so for all she knew, she may well have commited it so better confess it!

Yes, I knew it was part of the confessional. Glad I don't have any of those hang ups to get over, why should you spend your life feeling guilty?! Watched Philomena on the plane at the weekend, very sad. Never good snivelling in your seat on a flight!!!
Adore Father Ted, one of my all time favourites!

Thank you very much! What a cute little bunch
Glad to hear it's working so well for you. Metabolism isn't always fair - My OH is losing weight just by sometimes eating fasting meals instead of a regular meal, while I have to commit.

I might have snivelled a bit too when I watched Philomena last weekend. And not just because of my cold... Good movie

Hey everyone!!!

Yea I am still around but after going away for a week with work I now have a big catch up to do!

I still haven't got back into ADF/EOD since the trip - too stressed with work load to want to think about that too. Once March is done and dusted things will settle down nicely and I will be back at it.

Work trip only put the scales up by about 1.5Kg but not sure what the rest of the month will do - stress isn't kind to my weight but I am not going to stress about that too so no weighing for me until April 1st...
