Thank you too @Ballerina.

Feel for you @rawkaren, and OH. At least you are with him when he has found out. Fingers crossed for Monday, I know it can't be easy going back when he is unwell. I am thinking about you.

Bean, sounds good. I bought a Bodum mug, similar?

@Rawkaren I hope this is nothing serious, I'm sure it isn't. I once had it after a viral infection and a short course of beta blockers was all it took to,sort things out, hope his is as easily dealt with. Keep us updated and try not to worry, impossible I know but it changes nothing, take care of yourself, you do not need any more stress

rawkaren wrote: Thanks @ballerina. OH found out yesterday he has an atrial fibrillation. He went to the docs (under my orders now I'm home), and ended up at the hospital wired up to an ECG. Cardiologist is Monday. Hope to get a proper diagnosis before I go back on Tuesday. Worrying of course especially when we are working so far apart. I'm beginning to wonder how is he coping without me around all of the time

Big hugs to you Karen....

Oh sorry to hear that Karen. Hope hubby will be sorted quickly and as Debs said at least you were with him when he found out. Men do need a push when it comes to seeing their doctor don't they.

Big hugs to you

@rawkaren hope things turn out ok for both you and OH. At least it has been discovered early, before a stroke, and they can now take steps to manage. A worrying time though, but at least you have been around; I'm sure it would have been worse for you both if you'd been in SF when he'd found out. And Ballerina is right, don't forget to look after yourself.

Not a great week for me, I've been overeating on feed days and yesterday's fast got blown by lunchtime and ended up as a very bad day. The weight is creeping back and my head doesn't seem to be in the right place at all :frown: too much on my mind.

Oh no, sorry to hear that @Winsome. I hope you get your MOJO back sharpshooter. Don't let the weight come back after all your hard work. Be strong!!

I'm off for a meal at lunch time. So that I don't go over my TDEE I've skipped breakfast. Now, do I pass in the wine? That's the question. Empty calories and all that.

Yesterday was so cold (like, to the bones cold) that I had a Cup A Soup for lunch. At 91 calories it was actually delicious...most surprising. It even had croutons...mmm

Have a great day everyone, wherever you are xx

Thanks Beanie.

I know that my big problem this week is lack of planning. I'm seriously considering buying in a week of ready meals on fast days, from Monday. That way I know EXACTLY what I'm eating and there's no question. I spent so long this week prepping for other stuff that I couldn't be bothered to count the calories in my meals. Plus, while I don't have a very sweet tooth, there's something about clouds of icing sugar and puddles of melted chocolate that can't fail to get the gastric juices flowing! Add into that the extreme cold yesterday - I did the same as you and had sop for lunch as I was frozen after being on the sea front. However, mine was full-fat leek and potato that was in the fridge because hubby didn't come home for lunch on Monday as planned. Once I started eating, that was it. All resolve gone.

This weekend is yet another non-fasting one. Up early Saturday and a long drive for a sugarcraft all day event. The catering is laid on, and will be tables of cake morning and afternoon, and home made soup for lunch. Then Mothering Sunday. Aargh!

I think a trip to M&S after the school run on Monday is the answer. Fast Mon/Wed/Fri. Next weekend is going to be tricky as well; two days on a training seminar and a night in a hotel. I have no idea about food, but again its a long drive first thing.

Life is good, but goodness it gets in the way at times!

I have to stop making excuses :frown:

Sometimes someone else's meals are the way to go winsome, you've had a heavy couple of weeks with flu and all that cake! Skipping a couple of meals may be the way to go if you have various catered 'dos' over the next little while.
Life does get in the way sometimes!

Fasting today, its turned into one of those manageable fastdays..some are so easy, some so hard. X

I think my little weight loss plateau is broken....55.6k yesterday and 55.5k today....yay. My bust is shrinking though.....down to 34" now.....crikey there'll be nothing left.

Oh @Auriga I'm SOOOOO jealous! (but pleased for you of course  ). I just wish my awful balloons would hurry up and shrink. I'm still gonna get them reduced if theres no sign of budging once I reach 9 stone 7. But then that is 2 stone away...so who knows!

Yesterday, Bean was naughty and went out for lunch...and ate 3 courses  In my defence, I was treating my mum for mother's day (Sunday is a fast day!). I skipped breakfast to compensate and I just had to leave some of my pie and mash. The cheesecake was just disappointing. Maybe its my stomach's way of saying "enough already". Who knows!

Anyway, here I am on my fast day feeling pretty relieved that I only put on a pound after yesterday...phew! Normally, I put on 2 pound. Its strange how it goes sometimes isn't it.

One things for sure, though. I definitely couldn't cope without ADF!

By the way @Winsome and @Candicemarie? I do hope you are stocked up with delicious M&S meals. You really can't go wrong with them, they are so yummy and all the calories are worked out for you. Simples!

Well done Auriga!

Not stocked up yet Beanie, I have a steak and veg dinner planned for later as I'm fasting today. I bought the steak on Wednesday but blew that fat and ended up eating sausages and Yorkies with the family instead.

Today will be better. Today I am going to make it all the way to the end and I'm DETERMINED.

For the next few weeks the children are on school holidays, and the mornings are lighter. Hoping to pick up the running while accompanying them on bike rides and trips to the park. I also plan a lot time spent doing cake stuff, unfortunately. No way out of it due to exhibitions etc.

Today is going to be a good fast. Did I mention that?
