I'm finding it not that bad, as well. The only issue is that if you're being strict about which days you fast, it makes social events difficult. I just had a dinner party on a fast day. Luckily the dinner involved two salads with light dressing so I could fill up on that and not overdo the risotto. Saying no to dessert was more difficult. My friends all think I'm crazy. All they see is a thinner person than used to be there, and they don't get why I'm still being so strict.

Wow @nursebean that's absolutely brilliant!

I'm still firmly in the eleven stone something camp, despite taking time out for recovery. We're getting there, slowly but surely!

Evening all!
Very excited, I have wifi in my huge new room, a very big gym, classes every night, amazing food selection. All I have to do now is work!! I knew there had to be a downside

Back into fasting tomorrow with a gigantic salad and salmon to keep me going.

So pleased for you @Debs. Your new working environment sounds great. Are you in the same place as before or have you moved to a different location with your new job?

Oh Debs, I'm so happy for you! How brilliant is that, and just at the pont where you were despairing about how to maintain the fasting.

Enjoy your salmon and salad

Thanks ladies, I have moved to a new site at the new mine being built and a big camp which has only just been built, so it is purpose built with good facilities. I have someone to do classes with after work so no excuses! I am definitely going to make a huge effort to be healthier this swing, the kitchen will cook steak, fish or chicken to order so I can eat something identifiable for a change!!!
