You can do it winsome! Be positive!
Bean, I saw you sneak into the fast 5 tent you hussy! Not thinking of switching sides are you?!
I have fasted today, just having a few nuts; it was reasonably easy today as it was so busy again.

Thanks girls

@nursebean my girls are at an independent school so get an extra week off here and there compared to state schools. State schools will have just over two weeks for Easter, six weeks in the summer and a week for half terms. At our school it is approximately three weeks for Easter (depends how Easter falls) then eight weeks in the summer and two weeks for the October half term.

I've been through and mostly dumped a shed load of paperwork this morning, so haven't felt too hungry. However, I'm :frown: because I haven't found the paperwork I was looking for

I made it! A whole, complete fast day! Woohoo :like:

Just tucking into my steak and roasted veggies now. Yum

I'm letting myself off the ONE wine gum I ate while searching for something in the car. The packet was just there shouting at me. Bad wine gum packet

Don't worry @Debs I'm not ready to leave this lovely tent. Oh no, I'm very happy here thank you!

Well its been a 3 week break for me and probably roughly 3 kg of gain again.

I originally started the break due to the work conference but then when I returned there was so much extra work to catch up on that I just haven't had the stamina to throw in some fast days as well.

Tuesday should be my day - new month so things should calm down nicely, cant wait to get back into the routine, although I am a little scared I may have to go back through the rough first 2 week stage again :-(

Welcome back @TBrewerton

For what it's worth, even when I picked up fasting again after several months, I didn't go through the rough times again. My body just seemed to go with it; no headaches or problems. Fingers crossed its the same for you.

Good luck :clover:

Oh how I hope so!! I think most of the original struggle is just re-training your brain that meal times are not at regular times.

Once you do that, hunger pains etc subside - fingers crossed!

Welcome back Tim, sounds as though you have had a busy time of it. Sorry to hear that you have fallen by the wayside a bit.
I am the opposite, I find it easy to fast when I am busy and the day flies by without me thinking about food! Mind you, I am so busy I need to pre plan to go to the loo so I don't forget!!!
Well done winsome on succesful fasting!!
I am having a bit of a naughty day today, two rock cakes and something nice for dinner. Cos I'm worth it!!

Yea I am the same @Debs but this has been loads of work events where I have had to be in social events and meals. It makes it quite hard to fast and not raise questions or concerns so instead I just go with it.

Hello Tim. Good to see you back and ready to go for it.

Oh Tim, wondered where you'd got to! Welcome back, this tent has definitely missed you! Let's hope you can get back on track now

I am extremely happy today. My weekly weigh-in showed my lowest weight yet...11:2. This was a fantastic surprise because yesterday I was 11:5! There's hope for me to reach my Easter goal...at Easter...hoorah!!

Have a great day everyone

That's great bean, well done!!! I'm sure you are looking forward to the chocolate!
Re: The ADF Tent

I am...and yet I'm not! If I start eating chocolate again will I lose control and overeat again? Mind you, my mouth is watering at the thought of chocolate! I saw a recipe today for Creme egg chocolate brownies. 429 calories per serving (and it serves 16 so tiny pieces). Although initially excited, I then saw reason and thought it would be too much of a waste of those precious calories. Oh yes, ADF has really turned my mind away from naughty food.

How are you today @Debs? Are you working again today? Sounds as though you are mega busy at the moment...but is that a good thing really? Especially on fast days? I find my afternoons and evenings really drag, so I guess when .i start working again my fast days should just fly by xx
