Morning all,
Well done 666, you can but try! A whole half orange beanlet @nursebean, careful, don't want to fill yourself up too much

Well my trendline has turned almost horizontal  . Not quite but almost, slightly depressed but keeping on in hope. I wish I was fading away to a mirage in the desert @silverdarling, but I don't think that is going to happen any time soon. From tomorrow I am going to calorie count just to see what I am actually shoving down my throat as I can't beleive I am actually over or under eating, but I am not sure. Even so, it shouldn't make a huge amount of difference. Part of the reason the trend line flattened out is because I took the first reading out as it seemed to be an odd reading. Perhaps I should reinstate it to cheer myself up!

Well done @Badgirl666 good to see you've decided to join us. Just coming to the end of my fast today and looking forward to half an orange...I know how to live

Bean

I still feel like an imposter since I don't truly ADF, but after doing 4:3 for just over 10 months (!), I have this feeling it's easier than 5:2, at least in some ways. I don't do well with long breaks between fasts.

It is actually, although I am ravenous today, I find the structure a lot easier.

Isn't that just so weird how we're having exactly the same reactions on the same days!! (cue creepy music!!)

Been a sugar rush today. Have no idea why. Also first glass of wine in a week (unoaked Californian chardonnay). Hope I can fast tomorrow! :like:

A sugar rush with no sugar!! Sure you haven't been sneakily nibbling some Lindt finest milk choccy on the side?! Hope it was a decent chardy!

Yesterday was my first fast day in ages when I struggled due to hunger!

I am sure that exercising mid-morning is what threw me out. That and, I didn't really have a plan for dinner so my day was slightly uncertain. I knew what I was cooking everybody else, and in the end I had one skinless chicken thigh baked in home made barbecue sauce, on a pile of cabbage. It did the job but I regretted the lack of planning.

Perversely, what helped was spending the afternoon cooking. Just handling and smelling food and being busy stopped me blowing things. How I resisted Parmesan and poppyseed straws and blueberry polenta cakes I don't know. Oh yes I do, I remembered that I can have them today

Scales are a little lower today but not really reflecting five good fasts IMO!

I must be patient. I must be patient. I must be patient....

I'm jealous! I live in the land of bad wine.

Oh no Debs!

I must admit I have really struggled today too - but managed not to eat anything till now so just had a big salad and small bit of yoghurt after. Hopefully that gets me through till bed!

No idea why today was hard but really interesting that our days have been consistently the same throughout.

Him it's funny but you never see you two in a room at the same time...are you the same person?!

I'm like you @Debs in that my trend line is completely horizontal. I'm still sticking with ADF though, because like you two, I like the structure and if I do overindulge a little, I can repair it the next day. Of course, I have the added problem that I can't exercise but on good days I do try to walk the dogs and do my yoga. I'm still doing 10 minute yoga at the moment and hoping to increase this gradually. I know it does me good and so can't wait to get back to doing at least 40 mins per day...but I have to pace myself. Frustrating, but true!

Hope today is better for you...or tomorrow...oh you two confuse me!

Bean

Creepy isn't it?!!! Nah, beanerie, different countries, Tim is across the 'dutch', Kiwi for the 'ditch' or the patch of water in between the two countries. I can't wind him up though, cos I'm not Australian, so we have to stick together against them

We started on the same day so it is fascinating that our reastions are the same!

It is especially interesting since your fasting is all liquid isn't it? Plus you'd think being different sexes would show different results wouldn't you. Are you still getting up at some unearthly hour to exercise?
