Oh how lovely to see you in the CFS tent @Madferrit - you are most welcome here! Sorry to hear, though, that you've just had a crash. Actually, having a bath can be exhausting itself can't it. The effort if getting in and out, the heat, then the drying...yep pretty exhausting. When do you get your next B12 injection? Do you think they help?

So good to hear from you @MountainMyst. So you've finished your physical therapy? Have they given you exercises to continue with or anything? Oh I know what you mean about washing hair. I guess that's why I keep mine fairly short now (usually a Beanie bob!) and my mum has to dry my hair, although I've managed it myself the last couple of times - woo hoo!

Well, I think I'll be off to bedfordshire soon so I bid you all a good night and a better day tomorrow.

who knew that taking a shower would be enough to send a person to bed. this illness sure does add new dimensions to life. :)

Bean, I have a list of exercises to do most days, with instructions to not push too hard. sometimes my muscles burn so badly that I have to stop, and it does use energy I need to things like cooking and cleaning. but it has helped with the pain from the falls. so I'm going to keep at I.

as for hair, mine is recovering from the worst cut I ever had. I have decided to let it grow, and be one of those little old ladies with a braid down my back. I seldom blow it dry, just let it dry on its own, usually takes about 8 hrs to get completely dry. I had planned to keep it short for that reason, but after taking in a picture of what I wanted, and enduring the stylist complaining the whole time about how thick my hair is, and then ending up with a look that is reminiscent of men's hair in the 50's, I decided to go for a Phylida Law look. :) oh, I would love to be as pretty when I'm her age.

Beany, congratulations on managing to dry your own hair, good for you! we must celebrate the small victories!!!

wishing you all a great day (sorry about the LONG post) Phyllis

Hi Phyllis, good to see you! By the way, dare I ask who Phylida Law is?

Feeling really achey today but still managed to walk my beloved a today...without a hailstorm this time  other than that, I haven't done much as I'm saving my energy for tomorrow when I'll be meeting up with my fellow CFSers from my course. A few have dropped out for one reason or another but at the moment I think there'll be about 8 of us. So, am a bit nervous now...doh! Wish me luck!

Marshmallow hugs all round xx

Hi Bean, hope you enjoy your get together! you are probably asleep now, but hope you have a great time.

Phylida Law, hope I spelt that right, is Emma Thompson's Mom. I've seen her a lot in Midsomer Murders, and many of Emma's films.

Hi CandiceMarie, hope all is well. hugs to you both. Phyllis

Oh OF COURSE!! Yes, I know her! You can see Emma Thompson in her now can't you! Oh yes, I like her!

Well I'm just gonna go and get ready for my 'social' today. I'm listening to the new Pharrell Williams (not sure if I've spelt it right, now!) album and it is just so upbeat. Its really lifting my spirits and giving me a boost to go and get ready! The sun is shining out there. Yep, I've got a good feeling about today

Sending you all my good vibes! Have a great day

Hi Bean, hope you are having a wonderful day with your friends!!

I do think that Emma is going to look like her Mom when she gets older. they both seem like strong women with a wicked sense of humor.

love the avatars that everyone has. I'm afraid I'm lost when it comes to such things, but I do love looking at all the creative ones.

sending wishes for a great day for all. Phyllis

Aw thanks everyone, glad you like my avatars. I certainly enjoy finding them. Of course, it has to be the March Hare now doesn't it!

Well I'm back home after a wonderful morning, the sun was shining, I felt good, I drove with music blaring. It felt great! Then I met 5 peeps and we had a good chat and lunch. I was very good over lunch. I ate gammon and chips with peas...and even left some chips (so pleased with myself  )

All in all, I've had a lovely time...and don't feel too terrible now...hoorah!

Thank you everyone for sending your good vibes...they worked!

Thanks Candy...and sending hugs to you because it sounds as though you're struggling

Yes, we seemed to get on well, so much so that we're hoping to meet again at the end of this month! Hopefully some of the bods who couldn't make it this time will be able to join us too.

Think I'll recover with a lazy day tomorrow. Actually, I'm currently listening to an audiobook "The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry" which is read by my beloved Jim Broadbent (one of my faves)c. So far it's very good. Do you listen to audiobooks? It's a great way to relax.

Take care my little chickadees. xx
