Thanks Phyllis @MountainMyst and sorry to hear you've bean having such a bad time. Hope things will start to improve now. Your band aids remind me of my nursing days. I used to love the minor injury side of things. I do remember somebody leaving my treatment room with a little white cross on their nose. Well there wasn't much else I could do, so I tried to make them look as stylish as possible!

Take care my little chickadees!

Bean

Now home alone,he coming round tomoz to open cards and pressies..

I get the feeling you're in heaven there, Candice, with your pjs! It's such bliss when you're exhausted and can't bear the thought of going out, then your plans are cancelled and you can relax. Mind you, sounds as though you've had a super lunch!

Enjoy tomorrow

Hi all, Bean, know what you mean about trying to dress things up. I should have bought some nifty bandaids. LOL.

Candice, so glad your fella cancelled. poor thing only 6 hrs sleep. LOL. I can so relate to wanting to do something and dreading the physical exertion at the same time. glad you are all snuggled up and comfy. my hubby had his 65th birthday on Thurs. we made pizza and cookies, far too many calories, but we enjoyed it. glad you had a good visit with your family.

thanks callyanna, I'm recovering ok. just taking it easy today recovering from my physical therapy. :)

thank you all for being so caring and supportive. I promise to try and be here more often and return the caring support. Phyllis

Just popping in to say hello and hope you're all ok. I seem to have come on this site when everyone is either enjoying Sunday lunch or just plain snoozing!

Me? Well I'm apparently the only one fasting today!

Hi Bean, hope your fasting day is going well and you are having a yummy supper about now. Hope you are safe and dry where you are.

not fasting today, our days are Tues. and Fri. I'm actually looking forward to getting back to normal around here. we think that the fasting MIGHT be helping, it's slow, but heck, it's improvement.

wishing everyone a good week, stay safe y'all. Phyllis

Hi @MountainMyst glad you feel the fasting helps
I have love / hate r/ ship with fasting, but i did find even early on,when i hadnt even lost any weight yet,my dizziness improved ...i am more confident outdoors now coz i don't feel so much i am going to fall
Its not really dizziness, more a feeling the ground is coming up towards me
Feel a bit disorientated and sometimes not quite sure where i am putting my feet..and thats without having had a drink!
Have you experienced this Phyllis and@nursebean
....and a sort of hand/ eye co ordination prob? can mean i go to take something from a cupboard but i actually pick up what is next to what i wanted..

Ah thanks for the mention, I had a foot op three weeks ago and came down with a horrible cold right after so been trying to build myself up again to start the 5.2 as really entitled the two weeks I done.
I'm hoping next week to do it as you all no having ME and cold or operation can knock you right back.
How are you doing and thanks for noticing I've not been around :) xx

Hi CandiceMarie, I do know what you mean about disorientation. I have days that I list to the left all day. :) I use a cane when I'm outside, has prevented me from falling a lot. I also have the coordination problems, banging into things, missing what I'm reaching for, etc. lots of my dishes have chips from me banging them together. I think I need to get plastic dishes.:)

Lee, so good to "see" you. sorry to hear about the surgery and cold on top of it. glad you are taking care of yourself! next week is plenty soon enough to fast. yes this illness WILL make things difficult after medical procedures. hope you are soon feeling much better.

sending wishes for a great day for all. Phyllis
