How are my pals@MountainMyst and @nursebean doing today...and where are our other pals? Wd love to know how they are :clover:
Bad times really for me lately..The excitement / stress of househunting for DD has caught up ..
Aching, smarting or stinging all over and got the poisoned feeling i havent had for a long while.
Tried to have a walk but didnt get far, legs too jellyish..Shdnt be online but it makes me feel less isolated...Will miss seeing my fave band playing tonight, and missing another big gig tomorrow night :(
Sorry for grumbling but its a bummer..and cant help worrying about DD who has so much on her plate the next few months..dissertation to do for her degree, finding a new home, packing up their flat, relocating to liverpool, unpacking again and getting settled in ...sorry i sound negative when its such good news really but just worried how she can cope with CFS on top of it all.
On a positive note to end, i find bad relapses are rare nowadays and i recover from them more quickly now :like: :like:
Squishy squeezy hugs all round! X

Candy, I'm so sorry that you are feeling so poorly. I should have written last night, but my brain wouldn't let me. my daughter and I had a brief outing yesterday and I was just knackered.

oh, I know the feeling you are describing, and i'm really glad that your crashes don't last as long now days. I hope today is much better!! wish I knew how to post some lovely pictures for you as you always do for us. unfortunately, I'm a complete dummy when I comes to such things.

I'm sorry you are missing out on the fun yet again due to this illness. I'm so thankful for my online friends, it does make life less lonely doesn't it?

I understand why you are concerned for your daughter. she is going to have her hands full! I'm sure she has learned from her Mom how to pace and take care of herself. hopefully she will remember in all the excitement of her new life.

I don't know if what I have written makes much sense. I seem to have lost my ability to convey what I want to say. anyhow, I hope your day is much better and that the virtual hug i'm sending gets to you.

wishes for a great day to all our fast friends. Phyllis

Thanks Phyllis @MountainMyst xx
You do make sense honestly!
But I understand that brain fog feeling..makes it hard to gather my thoughts and if i try to make conversation,my tongue feels too big for my mouth! x x x

Hi Candy, hope you are having a wonderful weekend. you describe very well the feeling I have most of the time. I miss my brain terribly. :)

well, I found almost 3 lbs that I had lost. I would've preferred they stay gone. I guess I'm paying for that day of candy consumption. I have gained a pound, so was really careful the next few days and gained over 2 more. made me a bit grumpy. LOL.

well, here to a great week for us all. hugs Phyllis

So many factors can account for the weight gain Phyllis@MountainMyst x
Try not to get the grumps and be patient ( grrrrr as if we don't have enough to be patient about already ! )

You've gotta watch that Candy, Phyllis

I'm guessing you two need some wonderful marshmallow, soft hugs. I hope you're not too down.

I'm still, having good days and have bean free of the horrible neck ache for a few days. It's awful, but I find myself waiting for it all to come back. How long can I have good days I wonder? I mean, how do we know if we're ever gonna get better

Hi Candy, LOVE the little hippo!!!thanks for the encouragement. I'm actually not TOO upset about the weight. as long as it doesn't get to be a habit :)

how are you feeling? hope you are MUCH better today! and yes, I agree, this being patient is for the birds. LOL. sending you a big hug

Hi Beany, so glad you are still doing better. how long can it last? unfortunately no way of knowing. But enjoy every minute of it, carefully :) I'm not terribly down, just going to be more careful, and hide the candy. ;)

sending you a big hug too. Phyllis

I love Mommin Momma!! not sure what a Flump is, but I like the sound of it. :)

yeah Beany, you are young and haven't been sick for a very long time ( I know, depends on what you mean by LONG) we have a friend that was sick for about 6 yrs and got well enough to be able to go back to work and have a more active life, as long as she is careful. I'm with Candy, finger, toes and eyes crossed that you are one of the lucky ones!!

hugs Phyllis
