Yup youre right @nursebean they did and their offer was accepted...but there were quite a lot of jobs needed doing which they were up for, including rewiring..but then noticed some new houses getting built nearby..so theyve gone for the simple option, move into spanking new house...!

Hi Candy, I am falling a lot lately. for about the past 6 months I have fallen about every couple of weeks. part of that has been tripping over cats or walking the dog (I'm not allowed to walk the dog anymore. :) ) but I have always had days that I fall to the left. the other morning I got up at 5 am to go to the bathroom, and discovered it was one of those days when I hit the floor. :) my left shoulder and ribs are going to get fed up with me banging them into things one of these days.

I'm doing surprising well today, able to move about pretty well. don't think I did any serious damage.

I've had some serious brain fog for a bit, the main reason I haven't been on. I tried some new medication and it has taken me a week to get back to "normal" after I stopped it.

I'm glad that your dizziness has improved the 5:2. that is a great side effect. I figured out that some of my dizzy days are a warning of migraines to come. they seem to be a bit better on the 5:2. one other bad side effect of my medication trial, I've gained over 3 lbs!!!! :( oh, well. hopefully temporary.

the new house sounds great. I know getting them settled in will be a joy. hope you are having a wonderful day!!

Beany, hope you are doing great today! hopefully the setbacks you have had this week are short lived.

sending a big hug to all. Phyllis

Phyll@MountainMyst i do hope this improves further for you, as falls can be painful and dangerous and even if no harm done, they are a shock to the system..besides being embarrassing if they happen outdoors
Ive lost confidence thru falling so often - and nine times out of ten, have fallen over nothing.. Just my own feet Gahhhhh!
Enjoying the fact i no longer fall tho the fear is still there!
Brain fog is awfully frustrating and again can be embarrassing! So many times i feel a fool as in conversation i can suddenly lose the thread or even stop being able to understand, can see peoples lips moving but its just a jumble of words, and i know i get a stupid look on my face!
Take care my two CFS buds..i hate to think the others are too ill to join us,can only pray they are better and out gallivanting! Lets hope we all......

Hi Candy, yeah, I've fallen so much lately that it feels like gravity is out to get me. :) actually when I'm outside I use a cane because I can fall quite easily. my left leg has a tendency to drag a bit, and doesn't come off the ground sometimes, causing me to trip over my own feet like you said. sure am glad you aren't falling as much, it just gives us too many chances to break something.

I seem to be in a not loosing period, I wonder if my thyroid has slowed again. the doctor has decreased my medication a couple of times. I'm going to monitor my calories to see if I'm eating more than I think I am. I hate seeing the scales creep upward, even if it's a pound, especially when I'm following the plan.

hope today is a great one for you. sending you and our friends a big hug. Phyllis

Blimey, look! We haven't bean in here for ages...not since 13 April. Hope that's a good sign. @MountainMystnhavent heard from you for ages. How are you doing? As for you, Candy @Candicemarie I think I keep missing you!

So, I've had a good run lately and have bean feeling pretty sprightly. It's starting to get me now though. I think it's the wedding last week that did it, plus my brain won't stop with trying to plan my new business. (Oates came up with the idea of selling sweets which sounds quite good to me so I shall be looking into that!) I'm still much better than I was last year, it's just frustrating because I can't get on with things as easily as I'd like.

Hope you two are ok.

Marshmallows hugs are a comin your way

Bean xxxx

Ahh beany @nursebean i know exactly what you mean..it's so frustrating having to take life slowly ...our spirits just want to get up and go but our bodies say no
I think ive got over the post-househunt relapse now,more or less,so i feel a little better x
Try not to let your energy reserves drain away in mental worries about yr Ebay, bean, stop thinking for a while.Sometimes if you leave a little space in your head,a good idea will creep in x
How are you Phyl, @MountainMyst did you get your thyroid rechecked?
I' m just off to buy batteries for my cd player..if only our worn out batteries could just be removed and new ones inserted and we'd be good to go! X marshmallow squishy hugs xx

Hi Beany, so glad you are having a better time. an improvement over last year is wonderful!

Hi Candy, I did get my thyroid level checked on Thurs. but haven't hear the results yet. sure would like to find those batteries to recharge ours.

sorry I haven't been here. I'm having a dickens of a time getting on this site. some days it just won't load. funny though, when I got an e-mail about this message I clicked and it came right here. I don't know what the problem is.

my daughter seems to be having a bit of an improvement. we are working hard to get our house ready to put on the market. yesterday was going to be a rest day, but there was a car accident at the intersection ( we live on the corner) and a car ended up in our yard about a foot from hitting the porch. well, let me tell you, adrenalin really helps you get things done. :) luckily, no one was injured and thankfully Dexter wasn't out there with the dog.

life is seldom dull around here. :) Beany I think the selling sweets sounds great, just try to give yourself a break now and then. Our brains haven't yet figured out that our bodies won't do everything we can think up. but with your feeling better, it will come.

love and squishy hugs to both. Phyllis

Lovely to hear from you Phyllis. Oh, poor you, though. That accident sounded just terrifying. I think you'll need to take it easy for the next couple of days because its probably going to hit you later. So glad noone was hurt, though. Oh, so you're selling your house. Thats certainly gonna take a lot of energy. Where are you hoping to move to?

D'you know, I'm still not sure about my eBay shop. I think the sweets will be difficult to store and I think I probably WOULD worry about kids' teeth! Silly old Bean. Its so much harder than I thought...trying to think of a perfect niche...something I like. It is definitely exhausting me because my brain will not let up. I can be watching tv and then I'll suddenly think...oh what about that? And then have to look it up...doh!!

Anyway, have a great evening.

Big hugs

Bean xx

Hi Beany, you might want to find something you love to do, try lots of things and see what speaks to your soul and makes you happy. I'll bet it would make others happy too. my daughter and I are having a lot of the same thoughts. there are so many things we want to try.

she needs to have some way to earn money. she has no medical care, or income. so she is dependent on us. we aren't getting any younger. so we are hoping to get a place with more space so she can have workspace that will make it easier to run a business.

we will probably move to another area of Tennessee. we want to find a few acres of land with lots of peace and quiet. would like to be further up into the mountains. it's going to take a while to get this place ready, probably as long as a year. with all of us having M.E./CFS everything we do takes 3 times as long as it would if we were healthy. But, that will give us time to find the right place.

hope you are having a great day! hugs Phyllis

Oh sounds as though your daughter and I are in the same position. I wish her all the very best...and all of you with your work getting the house ready. I must say, it sounds lovely where you live. I keep trying to persuade my folks to move. We did think of moving to Canada to join my sister and boys but that would be too much...so now I'm trying to persuade them to move either Poundbury or Padstow. Padstow is my fave holiday place. The scenery around there is beautiful and it has a lovely harbour area with plenty of great places to eat!

Anyway, back to reality Bean...oh yes, books!

Hi Phyll,@MountainMyst your plans sound idyllic..hope you find the perfect spot for you all..high up in the Tennessee mountains sounds fab x
It's marvellous you put a positive spin on how everything takes three times as long to get done! X x we have to keep upbeat dont we at all costs! :like:
I share yr DD worries tho...hard to find a positive slant on this isnt it?
My DD is married and has a small income from a little bit of freelance work..but being so reliant on her Hub doesnt suit her independent spirit..and if they ever split up,she wd struggle, tho of course,as long as there's a roof over my head, there's one for hers
But like you said,we arent getting any younger..these are the sort of things that haunt me in the middle of the night...
On a happier note, feel sure our dear Bean will find a niche market to give her an income / interest..we need to keep our thinking caps on and come up with some bright ideas for her! :?:
