Hello everyone and thanks for your kind wishes. How are you doing today?

I suppose I'm not too bad today. I'm trying to sell some of my old nursing books in Ebay. Of course it's all a bit slow and I do find I get pretty tired doing it. However, I was able to pop into town, pay in some money, get the girls new harnesses AND then walk them. Not bad, eh? Slowly but surely

Hugs to you all

Coir just realised I haven't bean in here in a while! Yesterday was so hectic. I managed to set out our office (which, believe me, is in real need of a sort out!) I did what I wanted but it did an arf take it out of me. I felt terrible and simply had to collapse on the bed a couple of times. At least I did it I spose...even though it's so frustrating not being able to do these things without repercussions or at the speed you'd like. Hey ho!

How are my buddies doing today? Good day I hope xx

Hiiiiii @MountainMyst and @nursebean x x
Yes its a drag how everything has repercussions and how our batteries just lose their charge so quickly...I miss the past and those nice full normal healthy active times!
I never took for granted the good health i had for 46 years..i worked in a hospital and each day as i crossed its threshold i sent up a prayer of gratitude that i was entering as a worker not a patient.
Would feel so good to be well again more or less 24/7 wdnt it! maybe one day someone will come up with a cure
In 2010 my daughter and i took part in some research being carried out by a team of scientists in Nevada
They sent people over to Uk to take blood tests..they were hoping to prove that CFS is a retrovirus and if so,they could come up with medication to treat it
However like so much research, they ran out of money so their investigations didnt get completed, but for a while, we were very excited and hopeful.
Never give up hoping girls! We never know what good things may be round the corner vor us! XX

Sounds like a case of so near and yet so far. I suspect ME isn't taken as seriously as it should be and so doesn't receive much in the way of research money. Why that course I went on lost it's funding and so they won't be offering another course like it. Crazy!

Well I've had a super quiet day today, mainly because I have a bad back now and every time I walk around I feel like an incredibly old woman with a stoop. Flippin Eck!

How's you two?

Bean xx

Oh Candy, I've only just seen your turtle...how cute!

Have you ever seen "Shawshank Redemption"? It has to be one of my favourite films and really brings home how important "hope" is.

So how are you all doing in here? I'm sorry I've bean away. Feels like ages but I'm sure its only bean half a day in reality! I've become obsessed with finding the perfect niche for my eBay business. I really didn't think it would be this difficult...doh!

Anyway, hope you're ok.

Dear me, how awful Candy!

All quiet in here today. Is that a good thing or are you two having an off day? Hope you're ok.

As for me I'm diddling ok. Not bad at all today really. Managed to list a few more items on EBay AND walk the girls. Of course I've still got the aches and heavy coat but I won't let it rule my life. Anyway, I've managed to sell a few items on EBay...but not a lot!!

Have a lovely evening xx

Hehehe ive been for a " creep" round the supermarket @nursebean!
Laughing now but it wasnt much fun at the time, legs and feet felt like lead.
However, prior to that, we went for lunch to celebrate DD and Hub putting reservation fee on brand new house, not yet built..we stood and stared at the piece of land it will be on ..then went for shandy and a sandwich at Toby Carvery..to our great joy and surprise, sandwiches there are served with some stuffing, some roast potatoes and a yorkshire pud! X
Well done selling some stuff, feels ace doesnt it!
