Oh @DragonsHeart, I would be delighted with 1lb! My official weigh in is with a half pound down. I have also lost an inch from my waist and a few points on the body fat %. Delighted actually as I did the dog on it over Easter. Kids are back to school, so its back to normal now.
#7 weigh in today 13 stone 10.25 lb

Only 3/4 lb lost but very happy with that as I have been away for the weekend with full English breakfast and eating out Friday and Saturday night. I love this way of eating that I can do that and not feel guilty about it, I was even prepared for a weight gain so well pleased. :) x
141 on the dot @scubagirl- thanks but I have about another 20 lbs to go..I am short!
Vacation looming Thursday, long list of restaurants we can't wait to try. I was 1.4 lbs above goal after yesterday's fast and will be fasting tomorrow too, but I will have my work cut out for me when we get back.

OTOH this is week 10 of this diet and I am still losing. Been a while since I have had such good results with any diet without burning out! If I can get to this goal I may try for another couple pounds. Too much lost and I look wizened but a bit of margin of error would be nice
End of my first week on 5:2 and pleasantly surprised I have lost 1.39lbs as I haven't completed a proper fast day and yesterday went on a ladies day out!

Using MFP to record calories and apart from yesterday have been under the daily total allowance. Just don't seem to be able to get motivated - I haven't even managed to get through the morning without having something to eat/drink.
I'd like to join if it's not too late!
I'm currently 65kg, so a 3kg loss before June 21 would be great

:)
Bit late in posting but first week weigh-in was a 1lb loss which I'm quite pleased about as it is getting me a bit nearer to my Easter two week splurge.
#29 susbut65 What is the official weigh in day for this challenge ?
Personally I like to keep note of my weight on the 1st day of each month and every Friday and again on the last day of each month :dazed: 1st April 62.7K last Fri 25th 61.5 and 30th April 61.0K
I'm sooooooo happy    (However, off work this week-trying to be good, but day out with son today probably means burger for lunch  And of course have had the odd little extra but then what goes up will come down
:sun: 10 stone 7 pounds today. :sun:
That's a 3lb drop, but one that was expected as I started this in a rather carbed up, bloaty state last week, so I knew there was water to go.
I've done three fasts this week, and one day where I didn't eat till late afternoon (it just happened that way!), so I reckon a pound of this will be fat?!
Happy first day of summer!!!

I lost all of 0.2 of a pound!!!

It's still a downward number but still....
Welcome aboard, one and all. I hope I've added you all now!

Time is ticking by... just 7 weeks and 2 days to the solstice!
I weighed today and was pleased to see I am still 10 5. (145lbs)
Hi @PennyForthem....I am 55.8k today and managing to stick below 56k at last......hanging on by my finger tips though I think. :crossed:
#38 checking in ! After about 10 months off 5:2 I'm back and found it surprisingly easy to get back into. Start of challenge 64kg and really pleased to be 62.4 today. Aiming to get to 61. Now time for toast and a very soggy dog walk as it's chucking it down. Then there will be the wet dog smell and wet paws everywhere ! Maybe I'll just have the toast ( it's tempting isn't it ?).
Member #18 checking in. I am still at the starting line - wanted to lose 5 lb. and now need to lose 5.3 lb. :frown: This always seems to happen to me; enter a challenge and immediately gain some weight :curse:
I remain optimistic and have a plan ( 5:2, 16:8, low carb) so onward and (hopefully) downward. :like:
