Yes, only 8 weeks and 3 days till the solstice, 21 June.
Time to set yourself the goal, my friends: 8 weeks, 7lbs.

Both threads now merged; thanks @carorees

Register below (name, current weight) and I'll add your name to the challenge.
7lbs in 8 weeks is DO-ABLE, but you need to work SMART.
By the time the seasons turn on 21 June, you too can be 7lbs, 3.17kg lighter.

It's not a lot to ask, is it, but it's a lot to achieve. Keep us posted weekly on your progress, whether it be weight loss or your own personal target.

Go on, be kind to yourselves and good luck xx

hi all.

#39- today it's 140.4. If it's half a pound a week in the right direction, I'm happy.
No42 reporting in 120lbs today so up a little. I seem to maintain quite happily at 119/120lbs but whether I can work hard enough to get below that is the million dollar question!
@Loulou51, you are already tiny, so how much more do you really need/want to lose?
#29 reporting.Aiming to maintain........still losing
Yesterday Mcdonalds lunch, cake and sweets and chinese and chocolate  ......................still losing

Last Friday 25th April 61.5K Today 2nd April 60.9K YIPPEE

(why can't we always eat naughty yummy things and still lose weight :?: )
@StowgateResident you are right I am not a big person though I suspect I am bigger boned than Callyanna who is the same height as me but weighs quite a lot less. I just felt that I might like to get nearer to a bmi of 22 but actually in reality I am far too lazy. I am quite happy at 119/120lbs, I don't look too bad in a swimsuit - wore one for the first time in ages at Easter and generally feel quite fit and healthy. Perhaps I should just admit that I don't have any serious intention of trying to get lower than 119lbs :)
#2 checking in. 8st 13lb this morning. I got into size 8 skinnies this week (stretchy ones) and they go up and down without being undone. This is A because they are stretchy and B because they are so low waisted that they sit under the shade created by my muffin top. I think I have 'love handles' too. oooohhh errrrr. Is that the pad of fat that is on your back at hip level? I can feel my hip bones at the front but a wodge of fat at the back.

Thank you Penny for motivating us x
Hi there #46 checking in after first week for me of the challenge and delighted to report that I am 1 kg down. Very encouraged and motivated now!
Hi there @juliewil10 *waves* long time no see

Weighing in with no loss - but no gain either! Still 9st 12lb - which I'm grateful for, cos been quite naughty this week, post fastiversary celebrations! But 2 good fasts (and probably 19/5 or less) has kept me on the straight and narrow :victory:
number #22 calling in here! no loss or gain this week, dang you body, stop hugging the fat! lol
No 24 reporting in with a 2lb 2oz loss  the 2 oz doesn't let me add it to my weigh in stats but every little helps! I have really been trying to keep within my daily TDEE & 16:8ing & it seems to have worked but it does include 1 1/2lbs that I put on the week before. However I have now finally lost 3 STONE since January 2013 which was a big milestone for me :like: & I might even meet this challenge goal instead of not managing the two previous ones.
Well done all who have lost weight & for those struggling just keep plodding on like me & you will eventually get there :clover: :clover:
  Wow well done @isis you've been rewarded for all your efforts at last = 3 stone loss that's a great motivational breakthrough :clover: :clover: :clover:
I'll check in tomorrow morning. Not happy at the moment. I have bean 11 one day and then 11:2 the next for far too long. Will tomorrow show me the 10 something? Show me the 10!!

Thank you so much Sue it is weird how we set ourselves mental hurdles to get over & it somehow feels great when we achieve them! I hope you are still back on your downward journey?
Nursebean stick in there because you will get to 10 something :like:
I hope you all have an enjoyable Bank Holiday weekend.
Congratulations, @Isis, three stone is a marvellous achievement!

@nursebean, I'm sure that 10 will show up just when you least expect it!

@Wendy Darling - size 8 is just showing off! I think I was probably a size 8 when I was about 12 years old! I was a tall, thin beanpole then!

Onwards and downwards, everyone!
