My hubby is the only one I've heard using the work "strides". His sisters are the only ones I know that wear "drawers" as undergarments. Do commandos really go commando?

Just touching base with you all. Im still on hols and really just lurking on the site this week. @Cblasz, thanks for all the work and updates again.

I am interested to see what will happen with my weigh in on Monday after a week of no fasting, just 16:8 eating window. I have tried to stay low carb, but failed most days. Its the wine and deserts with dinner. Im not eating anywhere near what I would have done and excercising a good bit, but still not great with food choices. That said, I have remained within my tdee, from what I can estimate. Its hard to know how much butter is added to the restaurant food!
Enjoy yourself Scuba - you will get back on track when you get back!!
#25 here.

Woke up today after yesterday's fast at 139.8 lbs. Under 140! Hurrah!!!

That is only .8 lbs lost on my trend line in almost one month, but it's been quite a while since I've been in the 130s and I am only 2lbs away from my lowest weight of the past 15 years.
Wow @cblasz - fantastic work on slogging through all our posts to create the update - I'm in awe of your dedication!

Not sure where last week went...it zoomed by so quickly I can't believe I'm up for another weigh in. And it looks like I've lost another 600g. That makes exactly 2kgs so far, which puts me just on track for my goal.

Four weeks down, and ten to go...keep up the great work you springers!
Hi @cblasz , I'm just back from holidays, committed to losing 7.5kgs by 23 September, and hoping I'm not too late to take part in this challenge. My weight on 13/7 was 79kgs, my target is 71.5, and my next weigh-in will be on 20/7. Fingers crossed....
Number 22 checking in, not sure why but since entering the challenge my loss has stalled. Does my body know? I have a zero movement this week, so still only one pound over the whole challenge. Just cant seem to get to that healthy BMI.

I have weighed and counted every mouthful and been under for the whole week, even threw in a couple of 16/8s. Nothing seems to move at all, not even had a rest day from the gym.

Maybe I am trying too hard and should just lighten up a bit.

Anyway I will continue for the future and see what it holds.
#16 clocking in. I'm very pleased that my trend for weight loss is very slightly downwards counting from the start of this challenge 4 weeks! ago, see below. I think I hold water in hot weather, but I'm feeling fine and that's what counts. Just did a very good fast day.....in the heat, drinking loads of water.
No 43 checking in.

Was expecting a gain this morning. Been last week of term so everywhere has been cake. Supposed to be fasting on Thursday, (last day with the kids) but the head had brought in cake for everyone and not just boring not worth the calories cake, but really good, almost worth blowing your fast for cake. So I did. Well not completely, I just didn't have any tea. Not very healthy I know but well...I am weak, what can I say :dazed: Also it was an emotional day and I was feeling bummed.

Friday was clean up day. We had a buffet for lunch and the cook had made scones with squirty cream and strawberries and the most amazing flapjack ever. Also there was cake left over from Thursday. So yes, dammit, I indulged. AND I don't regret it either. But we were lugging and throwing and carrying and pushing and wheeling all day, so I must have burned most of it off, as the scales were nice to me this morning.

Down to 10 stone 4.75 which is a whopping loss of 1/2 lb That's a total loss of 2.25 lb

Not amazing I know, but can't expect anything better really, considering. No excuses next week, as I will be down the allotment most days, kettlebells in the morning and no excuses for eating naughtiness on a fast day. Have a good week everyone.
Number 13 here to check in at a weight of 12.7.
Was 12.6 yesterday
Going to continue with low carb with 16.8 everyday unless in a B and B. Which I will be next Saturday for my nephews wedding. Then we have a big family meal (Sunday lunch) after that we are all (16) of us going to center parcs for Hols.
#4 up a lb to 136.2, 1.8 lbs down since start of challenge. :frown: I'll see what next week brings.
@gill hang in there! You probably are losing body fat, but you may also be gaining water and muscle to offset that loss. Relax!
Thanks for the support @peebles, just feeling a bit sorry for myself.
I'm embarrassed to say that I've gained this week (almost 2 lbs.) It's frustrating, but it's probably because I ate out a lot this week. I'll keep at it. :(
@cblasz,

Scale weight, probably not fat. Weight of food in digestive tract, salt-caused water retention. It takes 7000 extra calories to put on a real pound. These daily fluctuations make us all crazy. I wish there was a scale that would only show us a 2 week average!
Hello!

Number 7 checking in, I'm somewhat amazed to sayI've lost 5.2 pounds.

Yay! Had stalled for so long, but I'm finally on the way down!
