Good Morning,

Number 31 checking in. I've lost 0.6 lbs this week and a total of 2.4 lbs.
Well a bit of an up down week for me #63
Fasting was reasonable for the Monday, Ok for the Wednesday, but very bad for the Friday, also was not so well so although my Saturday weigh in was great I cannot post it as it was not real and I have been so dehydrated that I have been drinking water by the gallon so even today I do not trust my scales. So for this week I will be pragmatic and say I have stayed the same at 80.4 Kilo!
On the plus side I did go to the Gym twice, 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours, so I am very happy about that and I am starting to see a small change, especially regarding my bra area so I am very happy with that. (why can't my flabby tummy disappear???????)
Next week will be more challenging as I have our teenage niece to stay..... wish me luck!
No.17 checking in with a 1lb gain. Im delighted with that! I came back from hols last night and have my totm.

On hols, I had no fasting or running. But, I was skipping breakfast and doing 16:8 eating windows and the days were spent walking, swimming and surfing. I was eating 3 course dinners with a couple of wines. I also indulged in several demi baguette sandwiches for lunches.

I am surprised at how well the eating window worked for me. Its definately a tool I will use again anytime I have a big meal event. It wasnt easy though, and most days I was hanging out for the eating window to open. Several days felt like a proper fast day nearly! As the eating window is daily, I did find it a bit relentless and like I was on a "normal diet" with daily temptations and restrictions.

I actually dreamt last night that I was up to 175lbs, and had in my head that I would be ok with 147lbs, so I was nicely surprised to see only 144lbs this morning. Hopefully it wont all catch up with me next week instead!
#25 reporting here.

I'm down 1.4 lbs for the week (after an immense Greek Pizza pigout yesterday, too!) This is after a few weeks when nothing much was happening. So I'm quite pleased. Both Libra and the tracker on this site say there is no way I am going to make my goal for this challenge, but I am still losing, albeit slowly, and at a weight that I never expected to see again, so who cares?

Also, I'll be celebrating my birthday Thursday (also one I never imagined I'd see. I mean, people that age are so ancient!) So since Thursday is my usual fast day, I will have to move it It says something for this approach that my response is not, "It's my birthday, I can ignore the diet" but rather "when shall I do my fast."
#56 reporting on the right day this week. Down 1 from last week's hiccup. Planning to fast weds and sat this week. Total loss 4.5.... Just 10.5 more by equinox...

3.5 lbs so far (however my weekend may have blown it) :geek:
#32. After gaining a bit on a short holiday (mostly water weight from salty food, I think), I'm down to 66.1 (-0.7 kg or -1.5lbs)
#65 reporting in. Starting weight on 13/7 was 79.0 kgs, weight on 20/7 was 78.1kgs, a loss of 0.9kgs. In lbs I make that 173.8 to 171.8, a loss of 2lbs. My goal is to lose 7.5 kgs or 16.5lbs, so I have another 6.6kgs or 14.5 lbs to go. So far so good!

[PS Not counting yesterday's drop to 77.7kgs, on the basis that weigh-ins are every Sunday - hopefully that's right]
I've updated the totals again on the first post. Thanks for all the check ins. Our total weight loss right now is 97 lbs!!! If it weren't for my gain, we'd be over 100! I'll try to fix that. If I am missing yours or made a mistake, just let me know and I'll get it updated!

Welcome to our 65th challenger @wasafan and already a 2 lb. loss!

Awesome job getting under 140 @peebles and don't give up on the challenge, you are doing great!

Hang in there @Gill maybe your body will catch up soon. Trying to ease up a bit might help too!

@Katharina - I'm so glad you were able to turn your gain back into a loss!

@egregious 1/2 lb after an indulgent week is excellent! Congrats!

@Carieoates - congrats on your loss. I just want to make sure I have it right though. When you say 12.7 do you mean 12 stone 7 lbs. or actually 12.7 stone?

I'm sorry for your slight gain @piper I hope it reverses next week!

@Badgirl666 - wow!! that's a great loss! :like:

@Romany05 - great job on the gym. I have found that when I start exercising it slows my weight loss a bit at first, so keep at it. Enjoy your niece!

@Scubachick - I'm glad your vacation plan worked out well for you!

Congrats to @RachelC, @hari_b, @MaryAnn on your losses as well!

Keep up the good work everyone!
12 stone 7lbs @cblasz
Ok, that's what I thought. Thanks!
Number 53 with a five pound gain this week. But I do have extenuating circumstances to plead...
1. Visitors. So lots of extra food and drink and one less fast.
2. Hormones. Lots of water retention.
3. It's hot. Lots of water retention.
4. Chips with salt last night. Lots of water retention.
So I'm sorry to pull down our statistics as a group, but do think this weight will be gone in two week tops.
I'm going to try for 4:3 this week.
Well done all you losers!
@Annurca - 5 lbs. is a lot. i think it'll be gone in a day or two. We'll wait to update the stats!!
I was complaining about a similar weight gain a little more than a week ago, blaming salt retention and the heat. And sure enough, this week I dropped almost 3 lbs without making any significant change in my eating patterns.

I'm down to 138.6 lbs today. Which puts me back on track to meet my goal for the challenge.

And the sight of that number on the scale is so motivating that I am going to be eating a very reasonable bunch of food today, though it is my birthday, because I want to keep this going more than I want to pig out.

Fortunately, the big box of chocolatey nutty things my daughter sent, which weighed so much that I was almost afraid to open it, turned out to contain ice packs to keep the contents from melting and a big styrofoam box. That was a relief as when I first picked up the box, it was so heavy I thought she had sent me ten lbs of chocolate covered nuts, something I have been known to go completely out of control over. Even better, all the things she chose were those where I can eat one or two and walk away. So now I have a nice stash of treats that I can enjoy and which makes me feel loved, but which won't sabotage the diet. Way to go!!!!
@peebles Many happy returns of the day!
