Umleila - that's a great friend! I am interested to hear how the two compare :-)
I'd love a force, but yes I've heard about the wristband breaking. Maybe by the time we can get them in the UK they may have done something about it. Can you get replacement bands from them I wonder?
For my latest fitness adventure, today I tried Nia! Does anyone here do this sort of class? I much preferred Zumba. The Nia music was disco-ey. The steps were too fast for me, or perhaps I just didn't have as much energy as I did last week for Zumba. It is a fast day. But I managed to put about 5000 steps on my FitBit, so not a total disaster.

My goal, which perhaps I'm more likely to reach if I announce it here, is to be in the top 10 on our leaderboard. Hoping a bit of competition will continue to motivate me....
Ohhh, top 10 is a challenge. There are some serious people at the top:)
I noticed that, @GoLinda! I certainly never plan on breaking into the top five.

But I walked into the aerobics studio at the gym, and the class before Nia - called "CARVE" - I don't know what that is but it sounds serious - was just finishing. The Nia instructor was 10 minutes late (apparently this is common) and so the instructor of the previous class just spontaneously started warming us up. She was - no exaggeration here - about 70 years old, under 5' tall, and weighed about 90 pounds. I was blown away. Still am.

I guess this means I have at least 10 years to get into extraordinary physical condition. Right?
I remember a day when I was in the top 10. ( looks skywards and sighs)
I will get there again, but yes it was getting harder. That said I never did anything extra or special to get there I just wanted to do my 10k steps daily and so started that addictive running stuff.
Well im another setting my sights on top 10! We cant all be there so lets fight for it haha

My understanding is you can't replace the wristband - ever. This is why I didn't get one.
Eek! This does not sound good

and I've been reading lots about people having problems with fastening the band securely too.

I think I will hold onto the one for a while even after I get the force.

Thank you Umleila, I have very sensitive skin so will avoid a product that comes in contact with my skin. I'll continue to wear my Fitbit One clipped on my hip-pocket. :)
Oh no @TBrewerton I can see you just above me, but watch out I'm on my way.
And ladies @tracieknits @umleila and @Betsysgr8 I am gutted. But it's not worth the risk in my opinion.

Edit, whoops I've just shot past you Tim sorry, blame my 5k walk after lunch.
Well the good news is the company appears to be responding appropriately and offering refunds to people having medical issues with the Force.

I am very happy with my One
I love my one (both the wife and fitbit...) hmmm is it bad to have two ones in your life haha!

@Carieoates Celebrate the small win now because I am coming for you haha
Bring it on @TBrewerton

One has a one and the hubs has a zip.
I did a 4.5k walk today so I've travelled a little bit up the rankings.
Ouch you are climbing away and the store still hasn't got my treadmill in :-( Not happy!
