Pee test 23rd April 10am.
Frequent urination is a good sign when trying to hit ketosis and fat burning I always thought.
@Candicemarie I've done my pee test and I'm not there yet. Tomorrow morning then I hope.

Hello buddy!

Urggh! I must admit I can't really be doing with low carb. Sometimes I get in the zone but as I don ADF I just want to enjoy my feast days

I think white is becoming the new silver isn't it? I'd like to get a white one. Its a smart colour, plus doesn't show the dirt so much. Looking forward to the photos of it.

Well I've got a wedding to go to on Saturday (which I'm dreading a bit because I haven't bean in people's company for a long time and I think it'll be hard!). I bought a pair of red shoes to go with my green butterfly dress. I'm now about the search Amazon for a nice butterfly necklace. I don't want to spend too much on the outfit because I don't think I'll be staying all that long.

Managed to sell a few more items again today. Can't think of any other news at the mo but will pop in later to see how you're doing.

What's it like being back of work Oates?

@nursebean that wedding has rolled around! I remember you mentioning an april wedding and how far off it seemed at the time..time flies!
I totally understand how difficult it is to be in company when not well..too many people, too much noise, too many conversations going on at same time!
Have learnt from long experience to always have my exit plan sorted so i can leave quickly..an hour or so is about as long as i can manage in company..i cannot keep up a lively facade for much longer than that!
Many people think i am anti social and even rude but this come from their ignorance.
Wd be nice if these people could turn that thought round and appreciate the efforts i make to join in,even if only for a short time..when i leave early i am going home to bed, feeling grotty, while they are still out enjoying themselves x

People are totally unsympathetic with this illness aren't they. Yes, I don't expect anybody will be understanding when I say I have to leave after a couple of hours...but I don't care anymore (tee hee!)

Blimey, its cold today isn't it. Hope its warmer on Saturday because my dress is really summery...plus I'm getting my hair cut off tomorrow so will be a bit cold between the ears!

Strong positive Ketones result 12 noon thurs 24th
Alright ladies calm down. I'm not going anywhere.

So my experiment goes a bit like this.

Yesterday 10am. Negative
Lunchtime I had a very small salad of iceberg, ham cheese and thousand island. On a fast day.!
4pm positive but not massively.
Dinner at 6 was a whole small baked aubergine with tomato based sauce and sprinkle of cheese.
Very hot and sweaty class 7-8
Two low cal hot chocs and a handful of almonds.

Then this morning at 4.50 one of our cats jumped on my head! He had been hiding at put out / bed time. So I has a wee then and didn't save it for testing.

It should be more positive than this time yesterday.

This morning id lost a whole pound and 2% fat. Which is obviously not going to stay.
But smiley face all round. Now usually, I don't show loss until the Saturday. So I hope I'm not getting over excited prematurely.

Just done test and not entirely negative. But better than this time yesterday I guess.

Not sure about Tiddlytales, beano. There are other Tiddly tales out there and some might think it has boozy connotations.

Oh I hadn't thought of that! I've now got a .com and a .co.uk. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with these yet (still listening to my course.) but maybe it will look more appealing when I've done the logo and got my branding sorted. I've just ordered a light box so I can take really good picture of my products. Getting nervous about starting already and I'm nowhere near opening yet! Thought aid begin when I come back off my hols in June. Yes, it's exciting but also nervewracking!

Well Ive certainly bean busy today. Sold a few more items, bean and had my hair cut (my hairdresser told me my hair is in a terrible state! She's suggested certain lotions and potions to help...doh!) I was hoping to go pink for the wedding in Saturday but I guess I should steer clear of any more chemicals for a,while...although it's a gentle dye with conditioners

So, how's your day going buddy? Any exercise classes tonight?

I am very excited for you buddy. Shame about the hairdresser, she's just annoyed that you DIY'd it in my opinion.
So I'm not exercising today nor will I be on Saturday as We've got to go to Stafford and get my new car.
I'm feeling very pleased with myself as I'm turning the weight loss corner, put it this way, I've been eating lunch albeit a very small handful, of iceberg with a chunk of cheddar and a couple of slices of ham. Then keeping it low carb.I will see how long I can stay at less than 25g.

I would love my BMI to go green to match my forum status!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Penny, hope you're right!

Glad the weight is going in the right direction, buddy. You know who your best friend is when eating low carb you? The boiled egg! If you ever feel pecking, just reach out for the dieter's friend ;)
