Oh Oatesy, I shall keep everything crossed for your son. Sounds as though he's got the upper hand though! :clover:

Thanks @Winsome and how's your day bean?

Hello everyone. Looks like this is the party tent yay....
@nursebean thanks so much, woo, I might just get my new car and hol in Dubai if he gets this apprenticeship.
@winsome thanks, I did 4.3 before but got a bit tired of it to be honest.

@Madcatlady hello there, glad you've had a good time, that place sounds like one my boss was telling us about. Did they bring round skewered whole pineapple too? He went to one in Liverpool. Yes about time you got that battery into those scales. Have a good trip back. I wonder if your boss's wife does 5.2 ?

@carieoates I'm confused. If you are ADF ing during the week, presumably that means three fast days - Mon, Wed, Fri - and then Tue, Thu, Sat and Sun = 4 days off, ergo you are to my mind at least doing 4:3.

Did I maybe miss something about 4:3?

Mon, weds, Fri fasting is, of course, 4:3 (3 fast days per week), so I'm a wee bit curious as to a) why you got tired of it and b) how ADF is different/ better? it's really useful for me to understand why people choose different fasting methods.

I'm ADfing during the week until my weight starts to drop. So mon weds fri, which means that I will be with fasting my bean every other week. Is that right? Is there a name for weekday ADF. Which means that Friday is no longer the beginning of the weekend with regards to wine. But I might make it a half fast, we shall see. .

Ok, @carorees and @winsome I believe the confusion must be the fact that I said and I quote above.
Basically I'm not ADF ing exactly as I don't continue during the weekend, like Beany.
I don't recall saying I wasn't doing 4.3 I was comparing my pattern to Beanys, merely pointing out that I will be joining her ADF pattern every other week.

Hope this makes sense, it does on my little mind!!

So in summary, I got fed up with mon, weds, fri fasting previously, but I'm trying it again till Easter. Unless of course I feel like a big fat glass of red on Friday, then it'll be a half fast.

:victory: ooh, I think I'm starting to repeat myself, I shall go now..

So Oates continues to 4:3 and I continue to ADF and along the way (ie every other week) we will be in sync with each other along our different fast journey.

I choose to do ADF because I feel I need something more structured and tend to overeat if the gap is too long between fasts. So far I am very happy doing ADF, which was very surprising!

Still keeping everything crossed for your son, Oatesy. I look forward to an update.

Have a great day everyone, I think the sun is till shining

Hello. @nursebeanand thanks for summarising for us.

I'm just so happy, lewis has a trial day. They're doing my head in as they just can't make a decision anymore. He's now making cup cakes. I will be having one....

I did a dipstick today on my urine and I'm in Ketosis, KETOSIS, KETOSIS.........we all know what that means. wipeeeeee..

So today I've had an egg and ham salad a full fat yoghurt, tea and a gingerbread latte.
Got in from work and had two hob nobs. Another cup of tea going down in a min.

I'm about to whizz round the house with the Hoover, put the recycling and rubbish out, put a wash on thin, about dinner. Might be gammon or venison burgers, wedges and peas.
Hope you've been enjoying the sunshine miss B

Aw wow what a gorgeous photo of you in your special day :)

Sounds like good news with your son. I'll still keep everything crossed just in case. Isn't he good making cupcakes!

It was funny today. We went out with the girls. It was sunny and lovely out...suddenly there was a big hailstorm and we got completely soaked!! I loved it, though...it was refreshing

Are you off to another class tonight?

Thanks Beany. I was looking for a pic of me as a wedding model and thought that would have to do. Thanks again.

Erm no exercise today, we had a massive hail storm on Tuesday, my chooks went running for cover it was hilarious. It's getting cold out now though.

We had the Tuesday hailstorm too! I was leaving school at about 17:20; I run an after school sugarcraft club that day and my girls do sewing club. It was fine as we walked across the playground and then the heavens opened and 200 yards later we were soaked and hail blasted
