Hey @MountainMyst Phyl x
Youve been on my mind! Been wondering how you are and I think of you when i' m hoovering or trying to open a jar..right thumb and wrist are very achey and i can't grip things! i know you have a lot of pain and stiffness in your hands ..it really makes what should be simple tasks difficult doesnt it!

Is Murphy's Law the same as Sod's Law? If something can go wrong,it will?
Hope things have calmed down now?

DD saw the rheumatologist and the good news is,she doesnt have rheumatoid arthritis!
That's a relief and one thing to be thankful for! Really worried about her at the moment as they are packing up to move back home from London, she's doing her dissertation, and trying to earn a few bob with her freelance stuff...feel she has far too much on her plate.

Howz yr OH and DD doing Phyl?

Bedtime for me now,and joy of joys,my sciatica which has been quiet for a good while,is just starting to nip! Grrrr! Hugabugs to you and @nursebeanBeano x

Hi Candy, oh, I love Sod's law, sounds much more correct than Murphy's and yes it's the same law. :-) things have settled down. We are recovering from the stress though. Right after I posted to a friend how thankful I am for my computer, because that's where all my friends live, it died. We got a new iPad,which I love, but really didn't need that expense right now.
Dexter and Deidre are doing ok. None of us handle heat well so some uptick in symptoms. We have found that d
Deidre does better if she keeps and ice pack on her abdomen when we go out. I'm working on designing a cooling vest for her to wear, seems to really make a difference.
I'm sorry you have the hand and wrist problem too, and sciatica stinks! I'm starting to think one of my biggest problems is with the ligaments and tendons, not arthritis or fibromyalgia. glad your DD doesn't have RA ,sure sounds like she has her hands full,I can sure understand your worry.
Hope you were able to get some rest last night and the sciatica is better this morning. Hugs Phyl

hi guys!

Firstly, Candy @candicemarie so glad you haven't got RA, although it doesn't make your hands/wrists feel any better I'm sure.

How are you two doing at the moment? I've bean working away, trying to get my books sold off on eBay so I can FINALLY get my shop open and start selling Funkos! So much to do. though lots of time I guess

Fasting today...hooray!

Oh I sympathise Phyllis. I had the worst migraine ever when I arrived at my holiday bungalow and I do find I'm rather fragile in the head and neck area. Hope your headache goes away and doesn't fester.

I haven't been on here much because I have to save my energy for my new venture. I've sent a couple of emails to perspective wholesalers in the US. Hopefully something good will come out of them. Then all I have to do is open my shop, retrieve my new LOGO etc. that I've just ordered and start trading! Nothing to it really is there!

All quiet on the Candy front @Candicemarie. Hope everything is ok with you.

Take care my little chickadees!

Bean xxxx

Just watching a programme about people who are terminally ill..
I guess they'd swap with us any day? So i take back saying wish we had better quality of life..
We may have a life-limiting illness, but we don't have a life-threatening one and i' m grateful for that x

Thats very true, Candy @Candicemarie It seems theres always somebody worse off than you isn't there...like those poor children in Iran and Syria. What a horrid world they live in.

On a positive note, I've managed to set up a wholesale account with an American company so hopefully I will set about ordering some Funkos. Now the hard bit...choosing which ones and how many of each

Hope you're ok.

Bean xx

Best of luck with your Funkos Beany!@nursebean
Hmph not sure what to think about this..i read this ages ago and put it to back of my mind..but came across it again yesterday.
That if you have adrenal fatigue, you shdnt fast.its too stressful on already worn out adrenals. My doctor told me my adrenals are fatigued tho that was said without any testing..she may have just meant CFS/ME usually = exhausted adrenals. The testing is done by saliva and / or urine samples and from what ive read is quite expensive to do in uk.
I dont know how we improve adrenals, except by trying some of the ( again) expensive remedies online.
Been doing 5:2 for nine months or so now and i don't feel any worse for it but neither do i feel any better...dont want to give it up as am used to it now and want the anti cancer anti dementia benefits ( hopefully) but neither do i want to deliberately be doing something that doesnt help CfS...
Any thoughts Bean and Phyl @MountainMyst or anyone else? X :?:

Hmm it's difficult isn't it. I do think though that I perhaps feel better than I would if I just ate what I wanted. I think fasting does give me more energy...if only in small doses.

By the way, I've bean advised that Little Shop of Hollywood is too long a name. My latest idea is Hollybods or Hollybodz. It's drivin me crazy

Trouble is, it has to be a memorable name, one that people are unlikely to misspell. They need to be able to find me. HollyBods? HollyBodz? Hmmm

I keep feeling a great name is on the tip of my tongue..xx
I keep trying to draw it out from the bubbling swamp that is my brain

I'm about to buy the domain name "Hollymix" Please let me know if you think this is awful. A one word name is probably best I reckon
