Oh thats annoying about eBay. Lots of people grumble about eBay's fees and that don't they. They're usually on the side of the buyers too!

Talking of eBay, I've just had confirmation that my first shipment is on its way! Doh! Getting pre---tty scared now let me tell you. Seems such a small shipment too. I've got loads more Funkos to come...gulp!

So how are you feeling today Candy? Any better? I'm on another good run at the moment, which is great because I've managed to get my books sold and now I need to sort out the garage and the shed. Shouldn't take long...not!

Have a great day

Bean

Feel better than the last two days thanks Bean@nursebean
Going to rest and build on it.
Just be careful with that good run, don't be like Roadrunner! Remember the 80% Rule! X
Hi Phyl @MountainMyst how are you today?x

I'm no good at being good, thats my trouble! I've got I don't know how many Funkos heading my way and no room to store them. So today, I got my folks organised and we managed to sort out the shed. This involved a trip to the tip too. Tomorrow, we're going to hit the garage. I'm dreading that because the size of the cobwebs is just....urghh! doesn't bear thinking about  Anyway, I'm sure I'm going to be struck down soon so I'm doing as much as I can...while I still can!

Hope you guys are taking it nice and peasy

Youve got me scared nowBean, thinkin bout big spidies. ...
Did you know, spiders hate the smell of conkers
Now how they found this out,who knows, but every autumn i collect the conkers and put them in corners of my rooms..and i never see a spider..
It gives some unsuspecting guests a fright tho coz the little conkers look like cats or dogs have left a little message in the corners
Ps you can now get conker essence in a spray as well so watch out all you spiders! X

O my word Moomin...that is the best news I've had all day. Now all I need to do is spray myself with conker essence and they should all hightail it outta there!

Thanks for that

Just spray the garage Beano! Gove it a good spray perhaps a while before you go in there xx
Give them spidies time to scarper to next door's garage,to annoy those neighbours with the loud telly! x

Candy, glad you are feeling better! I do have one question though. What's a conker?? I hate spidies! In Fla our house got invaded by what I think we're banana spiders. Those things were about eight inches across!!! Thankfully they don't get that big here, but I still hate 'em.
Beany, get you some of that spray, girl. Good luck with the clean out. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, and rest frequently. Hopefully you won't crash too badly.
Sending big hugs to you both. Phyl

Hi Phyl@MountainMystx
Here's a pic of what in England is known as a conker..coz of a game that's played with them.
They fall from the horse chestnut tree in autumn..encased in a prickly shell which bursts open to reveal a lovely shiny conker!
Some people say it's not true..but all i know is i've collected conkers and put them in the corners every autumn for several years and never see a spider..until we get to august / sept, when i might see one or two..i assume coz by then that the conkers are losing their smell and its nearly time to replace with fresh ones...
Works for me! :like: xxx

Hi Candy, I knew I had heard that term before, just could not remember what it was. I'll have to try that, we have spidies too frequently. My front porch looks like I'm ready for Halloween , I sweep them off and in a day they are back. Hope your day is going good. phyl

It makes for interesting exits from the house I can tell you LOL. Especially with the huge floaters in my eyes, I'm forever dodging things that aren't there. :-)
Hope your conkers continue to work. I have a friend with a chestnut tree going to have her save me some this fall . Hugs Phyl

Ohh great news about yr friend's tree Phyl! I quite enjoy searching around the trees and collecting those good old conkers..it's always good to be near trees and greenery,i feel it is quite healing,so i try to be close to nature as much as poss.
Not so good about your floaty eyes..yr nerves must be in bits at times! X

Hi Candy, oh yes the floaters do make for interesting walks through my back yard (we have a very shady yard with lots of places for spidies to hang out). I know I've swatted at Mosquitos that weren't there. LOL it was especially fun after the giant spider invasion in our Florida house.

Hope your day is going well, and you are feeling wonderful!

Hi, Beany, how goes the great garage clean? Try to take care of you in the midst of your adventures.
Hugs Phyl

8 inch spiders?!! Man Alive! I think that would just kill me off  Phil, aren't you lucky having a friend with a chestnut tree. You'll have a constant supply now and never have to worry about them pesky arachnids ever again! Great tip Candy.

Well yesterday was pretty hideous sorting out the garage. Theres still loads of cobwebs to remove and it still needs tidying. I have a feeling my shipment will arrive on Monday and my little Funkos are going to have to reside all over the house! My poor folks, talk about taking over. Still, hopefully they won't complain when I start making my millions  Luckily I'm still not feeling too bad at all. I keep waiting for it to hit me big time (which I'm sure it will) but so far so good...

How are you two doing today?

Bean
