#21 checking in. As I am a daily weigher I have decided to declare my lowest weight for the week. This week I saw 8st 13lb twice. So, 1lb off
Hi
I'm a week late but would also like to join this challenge If I may.
I've just returned from 2 weeks holidays and a 5lb weight gain put me at 166lbs.
I'd like to lose 16 lbs by the 23rd Sept and weigh in at 150lbs
#27 springing in with the end of the week update... 79.1kg, which I'm pretty happy with.

I'm off visiting family for the next 10 days...not sure how I'm going to go keeping with the fasts while I'm away (mum's a fantastic cook), so it might impact the challenge outcome, but *shrugs* I'm in this for the long haul anyway

Still, a challenge is a challenge, and I've never been one to back down readily! Keep up the great work springers, and may the fast be with you!
Welcome to #56 @RachelC and #57 @Emerald17! Can we get 3 more to make it 60??

Congrats to all of you with losses so far! If you didn't lose, hang in there, we have a lot of time left! I think that everyone has chosen reasonable goals.

I lost .2 lbs. this week and was pleased with that. It was a BAD week of eating, so I was happy just not to have gained. But, now that school is over and I'm officially on summer vacation, I'm ready to put my all into this! I'm going to exercise almost every day and I'll be fasting tomorrow and stocking up on lots of healthy foods!
#16 checking in with first recording Saturday 28th reading, loss of one pound. Unheard of with the plateau I have been living with and I put it down to the Carb control.
With snacking and giving in to whims.....not bad! I am using MFP daily for the time being to see in black and white what I am doing and there are lessons to learn in trying to keep the carbs down between 50 and 100 gm per day. (How totally daft to buy a special offer, let alone eat a stack of chocolate on one day, when I know recovery is slow and enjoyment temporary. Must visualise the Sugar therein.) Now that term is over and most of my teaching done for a while, there's "eating danger" at home even with mostly healthy appropriate foods, so I am proud to achieve something better at last. Thank-you all for your posts and I send success vibes to all. :clover: :clover: I remind myself that every day is another clean start!!
No 30 here with first weigh in this morning - was not looking forward to it as ate a lot of chocolate at the end of term - I don't usually eat a lot of sweet things - and then had a weekend of family home and lots of good food and wine! However I registered as 9st 2.5lbs which keeps me within my maintaining window. So quite pleased - am trying to 16:8 the rest of the week.
#20 checking in to announce a frankly teeny weeny .....half a pound loss!

I'm not saying it's undeserved.....because I am premenstrual & have gone a bit overboard this week! In fact, I am counting myself rather lucky....as my weight has stayed the same for the past 3 or more days, though it probably should have gone up!

On a more cheerful note, I have just moved (some would say "scraped"!) into the "11 stone-something" category...which is wonderful news.....considering I started at 15st 8lbs just 31 weeks ago!

Onwards and downwards...as we like to say! All in good time...is another good saying

Hi,
#56 reporting in. Last week was my first week ....apparently I am 5 pounds lighter today. I thought the scales looked a bit high last Monday but, heck, I'm claiming the loss! That puts me at a shade under 13 stone. Next stop 12 and a half.

How do I put a little cheery sign off under my message?
Rachel
I am definitely joining in as soon as I have a current weight....Just realised didn't get my post holiday kilos measured this morning so can't decide what is a sensible target!

@Lizbean watch this space!! :smile:
No 17 checking in.

The scales are all over the place this week. I was weighing in at 143lbs the morning after my second fast. Thats a 4lb loss in the week and i was delighted, although expecting a bit of a rise with the weekend, as is usual for me. The next day the kids got summer hols and I treated myself to a night out. The 3beers I had brought me over my tdee, but I ran the 15mins home from the pub! The next day I had a few too many fries/chips and went over again by about 250cals. By Saturday morning I was back at 147lbs  Is it really that easy to put on 4lbs? So, I went for a big run and did a 3rd fast day on Saturday. I managed to save myself and today, Monday, my official weigh in is at 144lbs.

I can believe the effect that 2 relaxed days of eating had on my weight. Perhaps it is the yeast again. Its a bit annoying that at this stage, when I am approaching goal, that I still have to track and weigh all food still. I certainly dont want to have to log everything into MFP for life! I shall have to look into maintenance a bit more, as this will be tougher for me than weight loss.
Yes please, let me join! My first day today so a bit behind everyone else, but the end date is approx 12 weeks away from now. I would like to lose 10lbs by then, which would get me down to the lowest weight I have ever been in my adult life.. but this time I'll be there due to a healthy way, not a crazy crash diet! My main thing I will do to help is to NOT overeat on non-fast days! Good luck everyone, looking forward to hearing the progress on here :)
Weighed on Saturday at 10 3 (143lbs), but went out for a big meal yesterday. 10 4 today, so having a fast.

It's called a signature and it's in user control panel, profile, signature.
#25 here. I was down .8 lbs from a week ago, just now, but woke up heavier. Could be worse. This heat is making me retain water like mad.
Just checking in , challenger 38 here. Weighed myself today and got 87kg, that's down 1.5 kg from last week so very very very pleased.( going to input to tracker now) Really enjoying fasting and increasing exercise, thinking of upgrading phone to an I phone and getting a fitbit! Been thinking for quite a while so perhaps action is required!
