@Hazelnut20 you are not alone. It's holiday season. And that's why we've all been getting motivated and generally geeing each other on.
Get your mojo and stick her back into the saddle.
I apologize again for being a bad challenge leader! I'm kinda overwhelmed right now, preparing for my regular school job and the 2 college classes that I'll be teaching this fall and they all start in a couple of weeks. I'm also a bad challenger, I haven't really been focusing on my eating at all.

Thanks for holding down the fort and supporting each other. This weekend I hope to catch up and update the losses and all that!

I hope you are all doing well with just a little over a month left in the challenge!
#3 checking in. My fasts have paid off this week. :)

Down from 81.7 last week
80.9 this week

a loss of .8
#18 checking in with no loss to report. Holding at 10st 6.
Number 22 checking in. I am not sure what has happened, but I am grabbing with both hands a 2 pound weight loss. I know it will be temporary but I will take it for a week. That's what happens when you get you kitchen fitted and it is out of bounds for a week.

That brings the challenge loss to 5 pounds, so half way there.

yay! Well done! :victory:
I had some plateauing, a week I couldn't fast - just gave up mid afternoon - then a week with just one fast.

Then I fasted this week normally and I've lost a pound! Hurrah! Ridiculously pleased! :victory:

I don't care how long this takes, I just want to get there.

As they say in Finding Nemo - just keep on swimming!
I have lost 1lb this week. At least it's a loss.
Hi @Rbrum well done, as you say it can feel like we are riding the waves ..... 'finding nemo' - Lovely analogy!

@Brand-ie you are doing so well - 1lb is great, whatever. :like:

Calling my buddy @spanner- time to come out of cupboard tomorrow you lovely woman

no 12 checking in
started challenge 127.4
0.2 lbs loss this week, I'm 'ouncing it' over the months as one can expect
Now 126
2lbs to goal - I think by Xmas - what a lovely present!
#2 popping in. Another small gain for me again this week. I had 2 really good fast days, less than 500cals and I still gained 0.2lb. I am loving getting back to 5:2 basic, will just have to wait and see what happens. Well done everyone, still time to make a difference. Good luck :)

Challenge start weight: 168.4 lbs
28th of june: 169.4 lbs +1 lb
5th of july: 169.6 lbs + 0.2 lb
2nd of Aug: 168.4 lbs -1.2 lb
9th of Aug: 168.8 lbs +0.4
15th of Aug: 169 lbs +0.2
Since the start: +0.6 lb
Number 19 just popping in from my holi's in Spain - how sad is that? I must be addicted to this forum!
Anyway, I had been up and down the usual two pounds again, and therefore have stayed the same weight, again. Therefore I still have only lost 4 lbs on the challenge.
Good luck to you all from very hot though cloudy Spain.

#65 checking in again, hopefully now back to a regular weekly reporting day, after summer visitors have left. Hoping for a few weeks without distractions, meals out and vino particularly, to make faster progress. Today's weight is 74.5kg, meaning that I have lost 4.5kg so far and have 3kg to lose to meet the challenge goal of 71.5kg. My aim is to feel good in a swimsuit in Mauritius in October, so am thinking that I should try to do a 5 mile walk on non-fast days to help things along. I did think (pre 5:2), that I'd like to overshoot my weight loss target by 1kg, and 'finish' with a Gargantuan feast, but now I see that this regime suits my system, my general diet has improved on non-fast days, and I won't 'finish' at all, but just ease off when I eventually reach 65kgs. Good luck to all fellow challengers and thank you @cblasz for co-ordinating this challenge when you have so many other demands on your time.
No 41 checking in! Hooray I've lost 2 & 3/4lbs & all my extra holiday weight gain & one pound more. I am now the lowest I have been since starting this WOE but still a long way to go to reach my challenge goal. I am having the dress I'm wearing to my sons wedding taken in at the shoulders because my bust has shrunk & the top of my dress sits too low & sort of goes AWOL over my shoulders  but the skirt is still a little close fitting for my liking & I still have a much too large tummy  however a vast improvement over having to wear a size 20 to my sons wedding & two more weeks dieting time to go! I might reach below 12 stone with only 4 & 1/2 lbs to lose.
Well done everyone who has lost weight this week & for those of you on holiday have a lovely time & don't worry about gaining some weight because fast on fast off seems to work on this WOE!
Checking in but nothing to report..too scared to get on the scales
Well done to the challenge eers who are losing, every little bit counts x
I'm also a bad challenger, I haven't really been focusing on my eating at all.

@cblasz Sadly being a challenge leader doesn't automatically made you a 'good' challenger, but you don't need to be a 'good'challenger to be a good challenge leader.
You're doing just fine, and thank you! Hope life allows you to focus on food again soon.
